Chapter 49
Aria's P.O.V
I'm sorry this is late my lovely readers but my great grandmother died last week and I just got home today. Hidden and Rejected Royals will be updated something in the next two days.
When I wake up the next morning, my back was to Justin's chest and his arms wrapped around my waist, cheek resting against my back. I look around confused at first, but then I remembered yesterday. 'I was hoping that was a bad dream.' I said to Sapphire. 'Yeah... So was I.' She replied with a stressful sigh. I looked around again to see Mason and Alana fast asleep and Andrew and Chase still out cold. I felt Justin shift behind me and lifted his head of my shoulder, yawning. "Mourning." I said groggily. Justin looked at me surprised for a second before looking around the room. A groan was released from him at the sight in front if him. "I was hoping that was just a dream." He groaned. "So were we." I said, sitting up. Justin followed me up and his legs seem perfectly healed. "Please tell me your killing them to today!!" Justin growled quietly, not wanting to wake Alana, and maybe Mason. "I would like to, but those three will fear them and I think seeing them dead will comfort them." I said. "Okay, that makes sense.... But only until they are all awake." Justin said. "Deal!" Sapphire and I quickly agreed.
"Did Judas really make Chase...." I trailed off. "Yes... I was fighting the bounds so hard I ripped opened my wrists." He replied, showing me his bandaged wrists. I slowly undid them and Justin hissed when I removed the last layer. "They had dunked the rope in wolfsbane and I'm guessing letting it soak for a while.... It hurts like hell." Justin said painfully. His wrist were split open, red and swollen. I hissed at the sight of them. "Does it burn?" I asked. "Yes. Ethan said I'm going to have a scar after it heals in a few weeks." He replied. "Tell me if this hurts." I said and he nodded, picking up what I wanted to do. He laid back down, head on the pillow and his other hand at my waist. "On three. One... Two.... Three." I said, bring forth my ice power and lightly touching his wounds. Justin groaned hissed loudly and turned into the pillow to muffle his cries and he gripped my waist tightly. "Stop!" He whined and I immediately took my hand off. "You okay?!" I asked. Tears were streaming down his face and Sapphire was getting worried, heading for Nari, comforting him, he excepted it gladly.
"Y-Yeah... I-It j-au-just h-hurts." He stuttered painfully. "I'm sorry... I didn't mean it to be painful." I said. "I-I k-know." He said as the door opened. Ethan poked his head around the door. "Good.... Your awake." He said to Justin and I. "Yeah, do you have any other bandages near?" I asked. Ethan looked me over, finding nothing wrong with me, he looked Justin to see his wrist open... And bleeding! I didn't even see that. Drake materialised right behind him and stared at Justin with blood red eyes. "What happened!?!" He growled. "Drake, it's okay. He told me when Judas..... He told me he fought the bounds rather hard and ripped opened his wrist, I took a look at them... He said they were burning, I tried easing it with ice." I said, holding up my hand. "But that didn't work, it just hurt more.... I didn't even realise that they bleeding again." I added and Drake came over to our bed. Ethan came over to us with a bowl filled with water and a wet cloth, starting to clean them. Justin hissed and sat up again, to give the doc a better angle. "I'm gonna have to clean them properly again Justin." Ethan said and Justin groaned. "No. Not again. That's really painful!" Justin pleaded. "I know buts it's the best we've got." Ethan said, leaving with the know bloody bowl and coming back with an empty bowl and a bottle of alcohol.
"Wait! Couldn't this be healed by magic!?" I quickly asked, giving a Justin a nervous and worried glance. He returned with a sad and painful look. "Mum tried. They were a lot worst than that before, that was all she could do before she passed out." Drake said, giving a Justin an apologetic look. "Don't worry about it." Justin said, filling him off with a wave of his hand but Ethan caught his wrist. "Don't move your wrist like that! Otherwise it's going to be more painful than it is going to be." He said and my brother looked scared, more scared than I've ever seen him. "You ready?" Ethan asked. "Please stay!!" Justin screamed at me when I shifted on the bed. "Not going anywhere." Drake and I said as Drake placed a hand on Justin's thigh, just above the knee. Justin seemed to relax at his touch and he nodded to Ethan. "Give me something to bite down on." He said and Ethan retrieved a plastic mouth piece and placed it into Justin mouth. "Okay, three... Two... One." Ethan counted down and poured the alcohol onto Justin's wrist, over the bowl and Justin screamed around the mouth piece and bit down hard on it. I placed my hand under his neck and squeezed, rubbing my fingers in small circles. He was breathing hard and tears were pouring down heavier. He managed to nuzzle my wrist lightly, eyes tight shit. Ethan grabbed a dry bandaged and started wrapping Justin's wrist again.
