The canopy casted heavy shadows on the Forrest floor below. Columns of light breaking through to shower some in the sun's glory. A pleasant breeze floated by, making the unfamiliar heat just barible.
The melodic sound of laughter danced through the tree's.
Bellamy wasn't sure how they'd ended up like this. Casey's lean legs weaving her expertly through the folige. Her brown waves flying freely behind her as she ran. Head thrown back and arms stretched wide in reverance. He tailed the brunette, just behind, but every time he got close to getting his hands on her she'd slip away.
The vexing woman had given him no warning. They had been walking for some time and then one moment she was at his side talking happily. The next she was gone. A taunting look cast over her shoulder in his dirrection as she went.
Bellamy found himself chasing after her instantly. The burn in his thighs and gut slowly settled in his abdomen as her hips moved just ahead. Just for him.
He loved it. The primal need to dominate running through his blood, the anticipation of getting his hands on her all the motivation he needed to push himself faster.
Bellamy would catch her soon. Casey knew it, even though she didn't want this to end. Her body acutely aware to the feel of his prescence. Slowly gaining on her.
Her chest ached with every breath, her side cramping. But it just added to the exilaration, pushing her for more. She had wanted escape, wanted to feel free. This made her feel beyond that and with this man behind her it had become more than that.
Casey was quite litterally running from her fate.
Bellamy Blake was a man she could no longer deny. He had made his intentions clear, he desired her. They barely knew one another but there was a connection. Perhaps one of pure lust but it was there. She desired him too, desperately.
And that's what terrified her.
Because this man was the type who owned you. Somehow Casey just knew, to give herself over to Bellamy. Would be giving everything. And she wasn't sure she was ready for that.
So she ran, following the game trail she'd discovered farther than she ever had before. Knowing she would always be able to use it to get them home.
"Enough."
That voice. Rough. Sexy. All man. Commanding her obedience. Casey hated it. Hated the way it made her heart pound, her body instinctively wanting to slow at his word.
That's all it took, one moment of hesitation and he had her. Bellamy's strong arms wrapping protectively around her as he took them to the ground. The brunette being tucked securely to his chest as he twisted to take the impact.
She had went down with a squeak, eyes closing tightly.
Every inch of contact was like a live wire. His hard body pouring heat into her as she felt his every rigid muscle, every raged breath. His soft lips brushing the back of her ear. It was to much, to hot, her body squirming against him in a desperate attempt for escape. Every part of her burning with need. A burn that didn't allow her to think... Only feel.
Bellamy growled, it was low barely audible, but it rumbled through his chest into her. Straight to her core. And in the next moment he had flipped them. Bellamy's weight pressing down from above, his breath feathering her face as she gasped.
She opened her ocean eyes and there he was. Close. So close. And so beautiful. His jaw strong, gaze captivating, dark features all man. His hair was wild and unruly. He was wild. And his hair marked him that way. Magnificent.
