"I am here for you."
How could he say that to her. After everything he'd done to them.
Bellamy Blake had the audacity to look her in the face and say such twisted, painful words as if he believed them.
As if Casey could ever believe it was possibly true.
"Sure, yeah. I bet you tell all the girls that."
Even as she snarled them the words hurt. Heart aching so deeply the brunette had to bite her bottom lip to keep from whimpering. Her bitter gaze rising to settle on Bell in simmering resentment.
"Casey..."
It had been a mistake. Swirling molten emotions capturing her. The love she found within, a pain that matched her own, that she heard in that soft whisper, nearly undoing her completely.
And instead of crumbling, a strong wave of rage rose to her defense. The brunette's eyes narrowing on the man. Every malicious intent put behind them. Wanting him to feel her anger.
Wanting Bellamy to know whatever they had was dead.
She had been played. It was as simple as that. And if that wasn't enough he believed he could still toy with her still.
"You know what?! Save it for them. I'm done with your games!"
"MY Games!!" Bellamy had advanced without warning. A snarl twisting those masculine features as his fist hit the cargo pod just beside Casey's shoulder. The man crowding her once again as he brought his face close. "Your the one who doesn't seem to think we're exclusive!!"
You had to give their mother credit, the Blake's were beautiful. Even as she didn't want to, the brunette could see all of Bellamy's masculine perfection. His vicious features looking chiseled from stone.
And though his display of aggression hadn't intimidated her in the slightest. Casey's retort was stuck in her throat. Those snarled words dripping with accusation and not making a damn bit of sense.
"What?! Now you have nothing to say?!"
A weaker woman may have withered under Bellamy's glare but the brunette only matched it. Her hands raising to shove at his shoulders as she floundered for words. Anxious perplexity gripping her form and making her heart race.
"That.... what..." Instead of moving away as she wanted. The man brought his body closer, caging her in as a hand rested against the metal on either side of her. His chest pushing against her hands instead of giving way to them. And damn him, the shifting of those hard muscles under her palms was something Casey couldn't miss. "Your ridiculous!!"
This manipulative bullshit wasn't going to work. The brunettes skin crawling at the thought of his tainted touch, even as she craved it. She hadn't been the one to touch another as he was obviously implying. That had been him. Bellamy giving a convincing show as his accusing anger seemed almost genuine.
Reverse psychology bullshit.
"What's ridiculous is you thinking I'm the type of man who doesn't need all of you! Monty may be okay with that nonsense but I'm not!"
"Why are you?!" Casey couldn't believe her ears. She had given all of herself to Bellamy. Everything she could give without loosing who she was. And the fact it hadn't apparently been enough was a bitter one. The way he had hissed her friends name only making the protective side of her soul rise with her defiant anger. He didn't have a right to even speak their names as far as the brunette was concerned. Nevertheless, blame them. "Monty has nothing to do with this!"
Bellamy Blake had lost all control at that. Though he just knew this was exactly what Casey had been going to say. The blatant disregard for her own actions maddened him.
