The rain was a subtle presence. Leisurely falling from the sky to shower them in a cooling tickle. A pleasant smell of dampened earth rising in the air to tease the senses. Breaking past that lingering scent of smoke and artificial malfunction.

The Latina had marveled in it all. Overjoyed disbelief taking over her defined featured as the woman had smiled. Hands raising in reverence as she had spun in a slow circle.

Casey remember that feeling. Pure. Nostalgic. Invigorating bliss.

Life had been so much simpler when she had marrily danced into earths deadly open arms. A damning embrace you couldn't resist. Even as you knew it would strangle you.

Just like Bellamy Blake...

Shaking this sudden and unwanted thought vigorously from her mind the brunette had instead focused on Spacewalkers arrival. His expression confusing Casey but for a moment until he'd breathed the woman's name in delighted disbelief.

And then everything became painfully clear.

Name exclaimed from her lips in return with adoring love, Finn had opened his arms for Raven as she'd thrown herself into them. The embrace the two shared radiating passion.

Spacewalker had pulled away only enough to gaze at her face, his touch intimate and gentle as he'd raised a hand to her brow.

"Your bleeding."

"I don't care!"

And then they were kissing. Raven's lips crashing down on his with a desperation Finn matched.

Casey had felt her mouth drop open slightly as her ocean gaze shot to Clarke. The blondes body rigid, the attempted passive expression she carried not hiding the searing devistated shock she felt inside.

That expression telling the brunette everything she needed to know. That pain something she fully understood, something she felt herself, so deeply inside it was toxic.

Clarke had just been betrayed by this man. Her heart crumbling.

And Casey was furious for her.

"Excuse me, but, how in the hell did you get here?"

The brunette had tried and failed to keep the venom from her tone, a pointed look sent Finns way as she'd managed to snag the two love birds attention.

"You know that big scrap hold? The one on k deck?"

Raven couldn't of sounded more smug as the man at her side had gaped in affectionate wonder.

"You built that from scrap?"

"I kinda rebuilt it." Finns answering laughter and adoring gaze had moved the Latina right back into his arms. "Please, like that's hard. It just needed a couple parts and some love."

Casey wanted to gag at the cutesy shit the two were oozing. Flowers and hearts practically floating in the air around the two.

It was patronizingly annoying.

"Your insane."

"I'd do more for you and worse. Just like you would for me."

Geez it just wouldn't stop. The brunette breathing a selfish sigh of relief as Raven had staggered. The mood thankfully shifting to one of urgency as Spacewalker coaxed her to sit down.

Casey and Finn's eyes had clashed again briefly as he moved to retrieve a ice pack from Clarke. And conveying her dissapointment in him the brunette had attempted to give them a semblance of space as she'd moved to the Latinas side. Whipping the lingering blood from her brow with a forced and hopefully reassuring smile.
