"Go." Ocean eyes slide from Atoms back to the woman at her side knowingly. "I'm headed up to see Jasper anyways."

Octavia nodded hesitantly, the encouraging smile Casey offered helping as she gave the younger Blake a much needed push in Atoms dirrection.

"Go."

She stayed but a moment. Making sure O didn't chicken out before heading up the ladder. Jasper's ever prescent groans of pain having her movements rushed.

"Saved his life so they could string him up for live bait. Garden of Eden this ain't."

"That's because the Garden of Eden existed before our ancestors destroyed this place."

Finn turned in surprise at Casey's words. A look of relief flooding his features as he found her standing there. The brunette eyeing them closely as Clarke worked on inspecting the wound. The two woman exchanging nods of greeting.

She'd been doing a lot of that lately. Just looking and not doing a damn thing about it.

"Tushae."

Finn chuckled lightly, his eyes passing over the other faces around them. Casey's presence alone cutting through the tention that had been hanging thick in the air.

Wells moved from his spot against the wall to greet her with a kind smile and open arms. The embrace that passed between them thick with emotion. Though quick, Casey moving to envelope Monty's back in a tight hug.

His onyx eyes closing briefly as he leaned his head against her chest. The soreness in his spine relieved for a moment as he pressed his weight against her offered support.

"Glad to see you."

The smile the brunette blessed him with practically glowed as she shifted her fingers through his bangs lovingly.

"You too."

"This is infected. Could be septic. Any progress at using the wristbands to contact the ark?" Monty's body instantly stiffened at Clarke's question. A scowl pulling at his lips as his eyes opened to stare into the ocean above. "Monty?"

"That would be a firm no."

Casey answered for him, knowing he had trouble saying the words. Monty felt like he was failing them. The brunette able to see it in the almost lost look to his eyes.

He had always been good at reading her. And Casey could always read Monty in turn.

They would make a phenominal couple. But there relationship would always be strictly platonic. The love between them one of family and not passion.

"My mother would know what to do."

Clarke sounded helpless. Scared. The one person out of all of them who could have the answers and she didn't. It wasn't Clarke's fault..... But Casey hated her for it.

Monty's pained gaze slide away. Focusing on the wall ahead. The bags under his eyes indicating another sleepless night. He couldn't keep doing this to himself. It wouldn't help him work any faster.

A tired mind was not a clear one.

I should of been here.

Now of all times Casey was regretting last night. It hadn't been intentional. Her staying. But she had.

She had stayed and indulged herself, instead of being here. Where she was needed.

The weight of Wells hand was comforting as he caressed her shoulder. His gaze offering reassurance as the brunette glanced to his face.
