Darkness had just fallen as they stood and observed, silently. The breeze growing heavier with the night. Rustling the tents and trees.

Camp being chaotic, as always. It didn't seem much work had been completed on building their walls in the two's absence. Though they had to admit a astonishing amount of materials had been gathered. Several stacks of down trees laying just beside the small portion completed. Any and all scrap metal being gathered and thrown in a pile.

The fire was blazing. They where starting to learn the art of hunting, it seemed, several small animals roasting over the flames.

The delinquents quiet litterally, doing whatever the hell they wanted.

As the select few 'enforcers' Bellamy had appointed walked amoungst them. Confidently. Crudely.

The torches of the patrols where visible in the night, scattered throughout the trees around them. Bobbing, in and out of sight.

That was something to fix. It had been easy for the two to slip past undetected on their way in. Seeing them coming from a mile away.

As the responsibility of everything settled back in. Weighing heavily on her shoulders. The feel of Bellamys hand in hers was comforting.

Casey pulling strength from the man beside her as she leaned into his side. Needing the contact between them.

Every face that passed now ones she recognized. That strange warmth filled her chest as one thought was clear in her mind.

Home.

This was there home now.

And it felt more true, more real, than it had ever felt on the ark. These where her people. Every last one of them.

And she had everyone she could of ever wanted. And now, she had Bellamy too.

Bellamy had to admit his hopes where high. Casey not acting any different sense leaving the waterfall. A place they both agreed was kept just for them. At least for now.

And then they broke through the trees and her hand dropped from his.

Bellamy's jaw clenching as she stepped slightly away, putting space between them.

Casey found Miller quickly. A strained look on his face as he stood by the fire. Guilt in his eyes as he traded wristbands for food. The sight angered her. But the woman's rage was not centered on Miller himself. But the man at her side.

The man that had been so wonderful and kind in their seclusion, though still bossy.

He stayed right by her. His eyes strained ahead, his shoulders widening, body stiffer. The King back to ruling his kingdom.

It broke her heart. Her conflicting emotions fighting with the anger that simmered. Because somehow Casey just knew he only did it because he felt he had to. We needed someone to lead us.

And Bellamy had taken apon himself the responsibility of that role. Wether it be for him to makeup for whatever internal demons he faced. Or because that's just who he was.

But it wasn't a burden meant to be bared alone.

So Casey allowed herself a moment of weakness. Stepping subtly closer to brush her side against Bellamy. Her fingers pulling at his shirt briefly. He was upset with her, but Casey didn't want him to be.

It was complicated.

Things where different now.

She wanted him to know she was here for him. She may not agree with his methods, would always vocalize her opinion, but she had his back.
