"Power hungry! Self-serving Jackass! He doesn't care about anyone but himself." Montys tone carried malice as he spat the words. Casey wholeheartedly agreeing with them as he sent Octavia a apologetic frown. "No offense."
Said woman stayed silent. Watching the brunette closely with guarded eyes. Finns heavy sigh drawing their attention as he gazed solemnly between the group.
"Yeah. Bellamy is all that. But he also happens to be right."
Clarke moved quickly to her feet in response. A tight scowl pulling at her features as she left without another word. Two pair of worried eyes on her back. It didn't take long for Finn to follow after. Wells watching the man leave with apparent disapproval. It leaving the remaining occupants in a weighted silence. Octavia breaking that silence as she asked bluntly.
"What was that."
She didn't need to elaborate. It being a demand for answers rather then a question. Casey's focus moving to her as she frowned sadly. Not wanting to upset Octavia. But, when you threatened a life, someone always walked away upset. The betrayal she felt still in her heart causing the brunettes jaw to clench.
"You'll protect your brother from anything. And so will I."
Octavia grew angry at that. As was expected. Accusation in her eyes as she demanded further.
"Could you actually do that?! Could you kill my brother?!"
"I don't know." Caseys voice had been small, a tired whisper. But her gaze held steel. "But theres no way in hell I'll allow Jasper to be harmed any further."
O's doe eyes softened as she released a agitated sigh. Her hand laying over her friends once more as she continued to cling to the unconscious boy.
"I know that." Holding Casey's gaze she attempted a reasonable tone. "If anyone can convince Bellamy out of this its you. So just try to talk to him."
She didn't want to talk to him. The brunette not wanting to be anywhere near him. Bellamy Blake had crossed a line. One she doubted she'd be able to forgive.
"I don't think now would be the best time. Regardless."
Octavia didn't have a answer for that. Admittedly agreeing. But she didn't feel right leaving things as they were. Though he was being a ass about it, her brother was attempting to 'protect' them. In his own way. The younger Blake's anger over Atom the only thing that held her back from seeing Bellamy. Just to be sure he was okay.
"Go." As if she'd sensed O's thoughts Casey gave a apologetic smile. The pain and torment in her eyes unsettling. "He's still your brother. And i think their leaving soon."
Octavia searching the ocean of her gaze for a moment before nodding. Their embrace brief as she'd moved from the room. Leaving Casey alone with the three men that remained. Wells watching her back closely as the brunette simply sat there in silence. His concern evident in his tone as he finally called out her name.
".....Casey...."
"Whats happening to us?" Her normally confident voice was a bleak whisper. Then she fell back into silence. Wells unable to decipher what was going on in her mind. Casey finished up the task of coverings Jasper's wound. Pulling his shirt back into place as finally looked to the dark man. Accusations in her bleak eyes. "Why are you even still here!?!"
Wells knew she was often harsher than she meant to be. But her words still hurt.
"Do I need to tell you were you need to be? You seem to have forgotten in my absence!!!"
He understood perfectly what she'd meant, the man growing rigid as he'd put a failed attempt into hiding his grieving anger. And though Casey hated the sight of it, she just needed him to understand. Bitter tears filling her eyes as her hands fisted in Jasper's shirt. Too many thoughts buzzing in her scrambled mind.
