The morning after

"Tarzan, this is Kate." Cap said and gestured to a girl about my age, with long brown hair and sparkling blue eyes. "It's nice to meet you." She said in a slight Yorkshire accent "The same to you." I said and shook the hand she had extended. She smiled at me as we went inside. "Kate is an old friend and has agreed to help us with supplies, and the very helpful resource of information." Cap explained "That's nice of you." I said and she blushed slightly "It's just a small favor." She said and got a glass of water. Cap gave a look as if to say 'Don't even try.' I gave him a look back 'You can't stop me.' I wiggled my eyebrows slightly and Cap snorted a bit in laughter "I'm going to look for the twins. He said and left the room. Leaving me and the newcomer alone.

One hour later, Cap hadn't come back, and me and Kate were snogging...let's say 'passionately', very passionately. "You know, it's ten o'clock" she said between when we separated and kissed again, which was an accomplishment to get that many words out seeing as it was a very short time between the two. "Yeah" I said "what about it?" She separated for longer than usual and looked at me "I think you know what I mean." She said and he dawned on me "Oh! Oh." I said and smiled slightly as she grabbed my hand and pulled me into my room. We continued kissing 'passionately' on the bed and were very close to doing 'it' if you know what I mean, when I backtracked. "I'm sorry. I just can't" I said and sat on the bed in nothing but my boxers. She sat next to me and held my hand "We've only known each other for an hour, maybe a tiny bit more. It's just not right." "You're one of those ethical guys then. Only when the time is right. I can deal with that." She said and slid off the bed. She went over to my closet and put on an oversized hoodie "But you know, if it looked like we had done, you'd get some more respect. I can see by the way old Johnny looks at you the he's still a bit skeptical." She said and sat back down next to me "So what your saying is: if you sleep in my bed, just sleep, and then tomorrow morning you come downstairs in one if my shirts or something the i'll get more respect." I said and she nodded "Why are you prepared to do this?" I asked. She smiled "Just because we've only known each other for an hour doesn't mean I can't have true feelings." She said and kissed me before rolling back into the bed and pulled the covers over her "Oh." I said quietly and layer down on my back. Thinking as she drifted off.

Next morning I was awake before Kate and I dressed before going down to the kitchen. Before I reached the stairs I backed up and peaked into Tony's room and saw he was sitting on the bed looking confused and rubbing his head. "Awake I see." I said and entered the room "Seamus! Where am I?" He said and looked up "No where of importance." I said "I think you should sober up and see Eric." "I told you about Eric" Tony said and chuckled slightly "Of course I did. I'll be going now." He said and stood up "Don't breath a word of this. Not to my family, not to Lance. No one." I said "Cross my hearts." Tony said and crossed both sides of his chest jokingly. I walked him out of the house and made him promise again not to tell anyone, then he just left. "At least he's out of our hair." DJ said "You sure he won't be any trouble?" "Positive." I said and noticed Kate coming downstairs wearing my school hoodie that was a bit big on her "Morning all." She said and helped herself to breakfast. Cap and the twins switched their gaze from her to me, I looked down into my food. "Nice night?" Cap asked "Wonderful." Kate said and smiled as she tucked into butter on toast. We ate in silence, other than DJ chewing very loudly.

Cap and I had an awkward talk around lunch about Kate. I lied to him about the goings on of last night and he seemed to be very happy. "Nice going Tarzan." He said and clapped me on the back before racing of to find one of the twins. I sighed but brightened when I saw Kate approach, now dressed in her own clothes. "I'm off for some stuff. See you later." She said pecked me on the cheek "See you." I said and watched her walk away until she disappeared into the trees. I sighed and looked for a tall tree, I found one and pulled myself up to the top. I wanted to scream but kept it in. What was going on with my life right now, I escaped from prison, broke up with my girlfriend and the had kissed the next girl I met the same day. I rubbed my eyes and looked over the trees. It was very peaceful here, too peaceful I sometimes thought but that was probably me just being paranoid. I overlooked the fact that an old, black van was nearing our place of residence, but I didn't see it cause I was too engrossed in my own problems. I climbed down the tree and pulled the switchblade out and threw it at a knot on the tree. Bullseye. I pulled the knife out and sighed again. If only I could hit my life on the bullseye, not that that made sense at all.

So that happened...I promise that there will be action in he next chapter. Lots of action.
