*TJ's POV*
Lana was speeding at 70 miles per hour down the road, and to top it all of a thunderstorm had came and it raining extremely hard. There were big puddles of water in the middle of the road and when she drove through one I literally thought the car was going to start spinning out of control. Luckily she hit the brakes just in time before we tipped over. It was raining so damn hard I was surprised at how she can see through all of that while driving.
"TJ where did he say this place was?" Rusev asked.
"He said its behind an old Middle Aged cathedral, on the far side of the city." I answered.
"An old cathedral? I never knew there was cathedral here. Since when?" he asked.
"Well apparently it's been here since the late 1500s or something like that. He gave me a little history on it before he hung up. You see it was here during the time witches were being brought to trial, and they were brought there so they can a chance to find religion and redeem themselves. I don't know it's all weird." I explained.
"At least I got the sanctuary part right." Cesaro said.
"Oh trust me he said it's so old that you can't even tell which part of it is the sanctuary anymore. And he also said that there's a rumor saying that it's actually haunted."
"Oh." Cesaro whispered.
Once we were finally out of the country we took a left into the city and kept straight until we came into an old town that looked like a village except all of the homes were torn and abandoned just like the ones in the country. We had at least 100 more miles to go. He even said that we might end up near the end of New Mexico or even in it for that matter, because that's how far it is. How the hell did Bella even get this far from me?
"Lana when you see an old black gate on the right that's when you'll make a turn."
"Got it." She said.
The further we traveled the storm became even worse. The wind was blowing harder and now hail has started falling down and the clouds were now darker and grayer. My heart started pacing faster because the closer we came the more anxious I became this day had finally came. I've been waiting so long, and now I get to hold her inside my arms again like I used to.
Once we crossed the New Mexico State line I looked out the window and saw how everything in the fields are barren behind a wired fence. For a moment as we passed by there was nothing but black tumbleweeds and cacti sitting in mud. My eyes widened once Lana turned down a gravel road through a black gate with barren vines wrapped around it, along with dead roses that I knew were once red. The long driveway was surrounded by dead trees with no leaves. Up ahead there was the cathedral, and as we came closer towards it I could see that the bricks were tan, and some we're sitting in rubble. The stained glass window was still standing but it was shattered in the middle and cracked on the sides.
There were two police cars in front of the church and Officer Warren and Officer Smith were standing there holding what looks like a K9 German Shepard on a leash. When we stopped we quickly got out of the van and walked towards them.
"Where is she?" I panicked.
Before they could answer the dog started barking and took off towards the left of the church. Both of the policemen pulled out their flashlights and turned them on as we all ran in that same direction. We ran down the dark forest where a cemetery was located and where tombstones stood beside and in between trees. As we ran we suddenly came through a bunch of wet leaves piled up high until we came to a sudden stop.
Everyone was silent as the dog started sniffing the spot we'd stopped upon, until he suddenly howled in a sign that he found something. Officer Warren kneeled down and began removing the leaves until a beautiful pale face was revealed.
"My God."
