[A/N: Apologies for the delay! Work has been somewhat crazy!]
[Also coincides very closely with 'The Queen's Justice'.]
They walk through several darkly lit corridors on the way to the throne room. The darkness of the stone gives this place a eerie feel. Dragons are carved into every wall and pillar, even some in the shiny black floor. It almost reminds her home if the Targaryens made that their base instead of here. Black and red three-headed dragon banners are hung at every corner and over every torch. On the floor beneath some lies the forgotten banners of Stannis Baratheon and his flaming heart stag sigil. Seeing them on the floor in disarray makes Rhaena feel happy. At the large black wood doors, Daenerys' Dothraki stand guard. They await the ready to open the doors and stare at the small party with angry faces. Tyrion and Missandei had gone ahead and now presumably wait just beyond the doors. Davos looks at Jon and Rain and then nods to one of the dothraki.
They push the doors open and the party walks in slowly, taking in the majesty of the throne room before coming to a halt several feet from the base of the stairs. The throne is onyx black stone, jutting out towards the right side in shiny pillars of sharp, jagged black. And on the throne, flanked on both sides by guards and her advisers, is Daenerys Targaryen. She sits beautifully on the throne, hands in her lap, observing them with a small smile on her face. She wears her House colors, black leather with a crimson red cloak, complete with a brooch of a silver three-headed dragon. Rain is surprised to see her most prominent features almost mirror her own: the silver hair and purple eyes, though her eyes are more of a violet hue to her own lilac. Daenerys says nothing as she lets Missandei introduce her.
"You stand in the presence of Daenerys Stormborn, of House Targaryen, rightful heir to Iron Throne, rightful Queen of the Andals and the First Men, Protector of the Seven Kingdoms, the Mother of Dragons, the Khaleesi of the Great Grass Sea, the Unburnt, the Breaker of Chains." Jon noticeably fidgets and looks at Davos. He raises his eyebrows humorously and addresses the Dragon Queen.
"This is Jon Snow." Rhaena feels the air grow awkward during his long pause of thought. "He's King in the North." Several people grin with amusement to Jon's embarrassment, though he hides it well.
