SUMMARY!
Danny Phantom didn't necessarily die. He was cursed by a fellow student after a practice spell went haywire. The outcome left poor Danny as a phantom, doomed to roam the Hogwarts castle in ghost form during the day but free to be human at night. It was his curse, it was the death of him. At least he thought it was, until he found Lily Potter roaming around the castle at midnight.
NOTES!
-Danny is like a sixth year while Lily is a fourth or fifth year
-Lily is a Gryffindor, Danny can be any house but that, I suggest Slytherin
-they've never seen or spoke to one another until that one Midnight
-there relationship is a slow burn as he doesn't tell her that he's a phantom so during the day, Lily looks for him but never finds him
-eventually Myrtle snitches on Danny after he turns her down or something, and Myrtle tells Lily or the entire school or whatever
-Lily isn't mad because she's a bean but instead uses all of her time researching spells in order to help Danny
-so basically, at sundown Danny becomes human, at sun rise he becomes a phantom
-I think by the end of the year, he should be a full human again and can maybe turn into a phantom at will
-I love a soft relationship so make them both sweet hearts
