SUMMARY!
Alice and James were the Hogwarts "It" couple. They spent every summer together, spent hours doing anything with one another. The Potters loved Alice, and the Longbottoms loved James, with the exception of Neville being on the fence because Alice is his only daughter. They all loved each other.
Until one day.
Alice changed. Nobody knows what happened, but it was like a light turned off. She became so overwhelmed with her school work that her relationship with James crumbled under the pressure.
They promised to stay friends. Just friends.
After a year or so Alice and James were both single and living to their promise. But James was still in love with Alice, and she was still in love with him.
They didn't know what to do.
NOTES!
-Basically Alice and James grew up together, and they were probably dating from third year to end of fifth year
-I think beginning sixth year is when they break up and they get back together probably mid to end of seventh
-James never gave up on Alice
