Millie's POV Well what's the dress code for the date?" I ask Finn
"You can wear anything you want and you will look amazing." He complements, suddenly I feel the blood rush to my cheeks
"Thank you but like should I wear casual?" I once again ask
"Sure let's do casual." Finn replies getting in to his black mustang to drop me off at my house.
"What time?" I ask turning on the music in the car
"Let's say around 8 I'll pick you up." He replies with a smile on his face
"Where are we going?" I ask him
"It's a surprise." He smirks

The ride back was filled with comfortable silence with 'obstacles' playing lightly in the background
Ok so it's 6pm now so I'll just get ready now.

I did my makeup and if I do say so myself i looked pretty good I mean I was also wearing sunglasses.
I am cut out of my thoughts by honking of a car, I look out the window and see the black mustang. Wow it's 8 already
I run down the stairs and tell my mum I'll be back by 11. I run and open the car door.
"Hello Finnie." I say smiling
"Hello dork you look really beautiful." He smiled as well
"You don't look too bad yourself wolfie" I smirk
"So where are we going?" I ask
"Tonight my fine madam we are going to Pops diner for something to eat, then maybe if that doesn't work out I got a plan B." He replies
"Sounds good." I say
- At Pops Diner
As soon as we walked into the diner something unexpected happened we saw Gaten and Maddie
"Aboard Aboard." I say as we ran out of the diner
"I completely forgot that they where going on a date tonight." Finn replied
"Same." I pout
"No worries m'lady as I told you I have a cheesy enough plan B." He smiles
- "What are we doing here?" I ask
" there is this other really cool spot I know that's on a cliff." He replied smirking
"You're not going to throw me off of the cliff are you?" I ask
"What? No but I do have a picnic blanket and a picnic with me so" he implies
"Then what are you waiting for let's go." I say. He grabs my hand and leads me through the trees
"Voila!" He says referring to the amazing cliff top stretching out over the forest giving a remarkable view of the town.
"Wow." I say gobsmacked
"It's amazing isn't it?" Finn asks me giving him a nod in response
Finn lays a picnic blanket down and all the food and drink, he also plays some music from his phone softly.
"You are so cheesy Wolfhard." I say looking at the stars
"Hey at least I'm not making it more cheesy and looking at the stars you dork." He replied lying down beside me
"I'm too busy looking at you." He smirks from the side of my eye
"You see that, that just made it mega cheesy." I laugh
"Hey what can I say you're beautiful." He says taking a bite from a baguette
"Thank you wolfhard." I say genuinely looking at him in the eyes
Just as I say that 'Every breath you take by the police.' Plays in the background
"Oh this is the song we danced to in detention." I say happiness flowing through me at the memory.
"Care to dance?" He asks standing up
"Why I thought you would never ask." I joke taking his hand
"Whenever I danced with you that time I was literally crapping myself." Finn says making me laugh a lot
"No im serious I was like OMG ITS HAPPENING." He says in full honesty
"I was also very nervous I was like WHAT THE HECK IS HAPPENING?" I joke making Finn laugh too
"You really are one of a kind Millie Bobby brown." He says lightly smiling, looking into my eyes
"And you are one of a kind Finn wolfhard." I say making my heart flutter, still swaying, my hands around his neck, his hand on my hips.
"Millie Bobby brown would you do me the honour of being my dork?" He asks lightly laughing
"Are you asking me to be your girlfriend?" I chuckle
"Yes." He smiles laughing a bit
"Yes Finn wolfhard I will be your dork." I smiled ear to ear.
He kisses me gently and i kiss back still swaying to our favourite song. He pulls me closer. We both pull away letting the kiss linger a bit.
"You are amazing." He expresses
"So are you." I reply making him smile.
The song ends and it starts playing more 80s music like 'time after time by cindy lauper.'
We snuggle up on the picnic blanket, my head is on his chest, I can hear the melody of his heartbeat, his chest rising up and down slowly making me smile. He suddenly kisses my forehead making my heart explode with joy.
"You are so cute." I say to him
"You're cuter." He replied making me smile.
"Who thought this would ever happen?" I ask him referring to us
"No one ever thought this would ever happen but I am so glad it did." He smiles
"Me too." I reply
"Do you wanna go now?" He asks me playing with my hair
"I don't ever want to leave." I sigh
"Me too but it is almost 11 o'clock." He replies
"I guess we should leave then." I pout sadly
"Hey mills it's not that bad I'll take you here again." He smiles
"Hopefully." I smile getting up, helping him pack up everything.

"Thank you for tonight it was amazing! I'll see you tomorrow." I shout getting out of the car seeing him uncontrollably smiling with happiness
"See you tomorrow girlfriend." He says making my heart skip a beat
"See you tomorrow boyfriend." I smile walking into my house.
