It's a Monday which means school and a detention today again with Millie, I'm honestly ok with it.

I've really grown to like Millie the past few days we have definitely gotten closer and I love that we are friends. I mean hopefully more. FINN you are a player NO strings attached! But you said you wanted to date her so...

"Wolfhard are you listening?" Millie asks leaning against her locker

"What? Sorry what did you say?" I ask politely

"I said do you want to skip detention?" She replied

"Sure but won't we get another detention?" I ask

"Listen David our principal may seem like he hates me but he's like a father to me so I got connections that's all I'm saying." She says

"Hey beautiful." Jacob says to Millie while wrapping his arms around her waist.

"Fuck off sartorious." She says kicking his shin roughly causing me to laugh.

Jacob goes to wrap his arm around her waist but I stop him and throw him against the lockers making a loud thud

"Lay a finger on her again and I snap your neck got it? Remember what i told you that day on the football field?" I say grabbing him by the shirt

"Yes." He gulps barely even speaking the words

"So stay away." I released him by his shirt instantly him falling to the floor.

"Let's get to math." I say to Millie happily walking away

"Hey thanks Finn honestly he is such an asshole." She says kindly

"No problem." I say walking up the steps

"Out of curiosity what did you tell Jacob that day on the field?"she asks innocently

"I told him to stay away from you." I reply

"Wow thanks Finn, I'm sorry I was such a bitch." She apologised

"It's really not a problem and you weren't a bitch you've never been one." I reply walking down the corridor to maths

"I have trust me." She replies frowning

"Listen mills everybody acts like a bitch sometime in their life so don't beat yourself up about it and plus you should see me when I'm really bitchy." I laugh getting a genuine smile from her

"How can I repay you?" She asks

"I just want your company." I reply walking into the math class sitting at my table with Noah.

Millie's POV
Wow am I seriously falling for Finn Wolfhard? Never thought that would happen EVER but I guess never say never. Finn took care of Jacob for me he is such a nice guy honestly I really didn't think he was before we became friends but he's such a sweetheart.

"What are you smiling about Millie it's literally 9.15am on a Monday morning and we are in math." Maddie expresses banging her head against the table

"Nothing much and madds why do you look like shit today?" I ask truthfully

"Wow thanks Millie but yeah I do look like shit because I didn't get that much sleep because Gaten came over and we are going on a date tonight." She says a bit excitedly

"OMG yes I have shipped you two for so long." I reply completely satisfied

"Speaking of ships how's fillie?" Maddie asks

"Oooooooh who's talking about fillie?" Noah asks from behind me

"I hate you two I'm going to talk to Finn then if you're talking about fillie." I say walking away
