when someone asked me
why is your smile brighter than the sun
what could I do
but smile brighter
they say actions speak
louder than words
if so I pray
the sunflowers will hold the sun
longer
as you hold me
tighter
why do you smile
they say
and I dissolve into light
because dark cannot touch me
not here
not you
