We are alone and we are afraid. Isn't that stupid? We are alone? what a contradiction. What a humanity sized contradiction. Because the truth is, we are a contradiction. We are contraception and we are perception and we are death and we try to lengthen this petty amount of time we have on earth by playing God for all it's worth but listen! Do you hear the wind rustling the rocks? They are more likely to sway like the trees on a windy day, for all the time that they have been on the earth that we have not. Build more, more more. Be remembered, be remembered, watch the flames of humanity burn bright with... who? Well it can't be all of us because then, well, there would be no room for learning. Well I guess we will have to be forgotten then. All of us, all of us will be forgotten because even though we tried so hard to even make a dent in the memory of humankind there will be nothing in the end. Nothing. So is it better to live through this contradiction and put your mind to rest that yes, we will all be gone and, yes, there is nothing we can do about it. Even writing this is pointless. And I may have had a point where I was going with this but really, does it matter. When I can't even feel the way I speak. When I am just so tired and lost. When I just want to go home.
