Chapter 7

RAVEN
"Raven...Raven.. he-helpp us.."
"OCTAVIAAA!!!!" I screamed and immediately opened my eyes. I was blinded with a white light and my eyes hurt, I can hear a beeping sound coming beside me and I panicked. I adjusted my sight and look around. My head hurts and I can't barely move my body. I look down and saw tubes inserted in my arms, with all my strength I rip it out, I screamed in pain, I slowly get out of the bed and with wobbling feet I took a step slowly. I felt dizzy but I fought it. I need to get to the portal. I tried shifting but my energy is not enough to transform me. I breathe heavily and with all the energy I have I transformed into a hawk. Several grounders are now at the door shocked to see a hawk inside their infirmary. I let a screeching loud sound that made them curl and covered their ears I took this opportunity to fly across them. I could see a lot of doctors and nurses in the hall way that I almost hit by my wings. They look terrified and some immediately run to save themselves. The warrior grounders came but I shifted into a small bug that is not visible to human eye. The grounders panicked, when I reached the door I copied one of the grounder nurse form then walked out of the infirmary. As I turned to a dark alley I immediately transformed into a hawk so that I could easily find the tower. I flap my wings and soar to the air, I spot the tower easily and fly towards it. Sirens filled the grounders territory, well they took long enough but I didn't care. I need to find Octavia. I need to help her.

LEXA
"Is the Queen in there?"
I heard Emily's voice which woke me up from my slumber. I heard Costia answered "she's asleep, what is it that you want commander?". "I need to speak to her" Emily said with irritated voice. I stood up and covered my naked body with the fur then walked towards them. I stood beside Costia and said "what is it Em?". Costia turned to look at me with worried face. "Lexa it's about the sky person" Emily said that made me scrunch my eyebrows together "what about her?" I said. "She fled the infirmary and was spotted heading to the tower" Emily reported. "Then why was I informed late?!" And walk out of the door passing through her. I snap my fingers which made my handmaidens followed, they immediately hand over my night gown which I wear leaving the fur behind. I called heda and jump on the first window I sighted, I landed on Heda's back and command her to head to the tower. Emily was already behind me. I jumped from heda's back and landed on the ground smoothly my warrior's immediately greeted me and followed me as I entered the tower. I saw one of my men thrown while others are trying to hold the big hawk. My warriors are making a human wall so that the sky girl could not get pass through the portal. "STAND DOWN!" My voice silence the room. Some of my men are already hurt from the hawk's claws. The hawk kept on screeching trying to escape from the rope. I look at her then said "SHIFT.NOW." The sky girl look at me then shifted. "You runaway from the infirmary, you hurt my men and now you want to open the portal. Tell me what are you playing at cause believe me I don't have time for games." I spat my words like venom. "It's Octavia... I can feel her presence, she's wounded. She came to my dreams she needs help.. they need help. That's why I want to go back. Maybe some of my people survived. Please..." "NO!!" I said. "I could not risk my people for your people!". She look at me with sad and pained eyes "I'm not asking for your help. Just give me time to look for them... please.." I look at Emily and she glanced at me. We maintained eye-contact for a moment like we're talking with our minds. I broke it off and glance back to the sky girl "30 mins.." I said. "I'll give you 30 mins. We will seal the portal after that, with or without you. Got it?"."yes your highness" she said then I signaled my men to open the portal. The sky girl shifted into a big wolf then run towards the sky people's territory. Emily insructed the guards to maintain in their protective stance if some creature will appear and take the opportunity to cross the portal. We waited while staying alert and ready for battle. I hope that the sky girl is right, that there are still survivors out there. Emily pulled me out from my thoughts "Lexa it's time." She said with disappointment in her voice. I sighed then signaled the guards to start closing the portal. I turned my heel and walked away when a loud screeching sound was heard from the half way closed portal. Emily immediately reopened the portal and I turned and run towards the opening. We saw the hawk coming towards us. "MOVE!!!" I shout at my warriors and jump out of the way. The hawk tumbled inside the tower and Emily sealed the portal. The hawk opened both her claws and revealed 2 beautiful sky women even with teared gowns, disheveled hair and covered with bruises and cuts. The hawk girl shifted after putting down the women slowly on the ground. She hovered over her friends and said " please help them.." I commanded my men to take them . I look over to Emily who stared at one of the women carried by the warrior. She look at the girl with concern, she extended her right hand almost touching the golden curls of the girl then I realized, I look over to the girl once again and immediately recognized her. The girl who can make force field and can levitate. The warrior carrying the girl looked confused to the extended arms of his commander. He cleared his throat and said "Commander.." this made Emily retract her hand and put on her expressionless face. "Take her to the infirmary" she said. "Yes commander" he bowed his head and continued to head out. She continued looking at the girl until she's out of sight. I cleared my throat and said "Emily are you alright?". She look at me and saw something that pass through her eyes even in her expressionless look "yes.. yes I'm fine" she said. "Then let's go back to the castle" I said. She nods and we walked back to where are dragons and called our dragons.
