When we arrived in our territory Lady Octavia also covered the portal from their territory to ours with metals. She said that it may hold for a while but we still need to make the blood contract to put up the barriers. Victorious cheers was heard from my people as we passed by the city. I was riding heda towards the castle while Emily is just right behind me riding her dragon with lady Allison in her arms. Lady Raven flew ahead of us and gently put the sky princess body on the ground then shifted. I jump off heda and was immediately welcomed by the councils. Costia run towards me and crashed me into a tight hug, she rained kisses on my cheeks and I smiled at her. Councils are congratulating me and my team for succeeding the mission. I raised my hand and the crowd became silent. "TONIGHT WE WILL CELEBRATE OUR VICTORY!! PREPARE FOR A FIEST !!!" I command then the crowd immediately roar with happiness. They dispersed and now starting to head off to their task to prepare an eventful evening. Costia did not left my side and held my hand while we walked towards the entrance of the castle. "Your highness.." I heard Lady Raven calling me and I turned to her direction. "Where will we put the body of our princess?.." while looking at the remains of their ruler with despair. I glanced at the princess and almost gave in to my emotions. She looked in pain. She was kneeling and both of her arms were extended on the ground. I cleared my throat and felt Costia staring at me with confused look. "I will give her her own chambers you could stay with her if you like" I said. "Thank you your highness" Lady Raven said with teary eyes. I immediately turned back at her and continued walking towards the castle. Costia followed me and grabbed my arm "What was that?" She said. "What was what?" I said in return. "Why did you gave a chamber for the dead body? And worst, for the sky princess, our enemy?" She answered with hatred in her eyes. I look straight to her eyes and said "That sky princess saved me, you and our people by sacrificing her own. And she will continue to save us by using her body and my blood to create a protective barrier." I said firmly. My face hardened and my eyes reflects irritation. Costia was shocked of what she saw, this is the first time I ever talk to her like this. "Do not question my judgement again." I said then walked away from her. Leaving her shocked and speechless.

I walked towards my chambers. Guards and servants almost run away from me. They know that I'm not in the mood and one wrong move will cause their tongue or worst their heads. As I reached my chamber I pushed the door and almost broke its hinges. I went straight to the balcony and inhaled the fresh mountain air. I gripped on the railings firmly and closed my eyes. I was so pissed off at Costia for saying those things to the sky princess. My feelings are in jumble right now. Everytime I look at the body of the sky princess my heart bleeds. The death of my father didn't even give me this kind of pain. I didn't even care about Costia's feelings when I said those words to her. I deeply sighed and opened my eyes. I scanned my kingdom and noticed the festive aura of the city due to our victory but my heart felt like it was mourning to something or rather than to someone.

The night came where everyone is dancing before me, music boomed around the kingdom, people drink and eat, laughter and talking voices is mixed together. I sat on my throne observing my people. The councils are also enjoying themselves partying with friends and family. I glanced at Emily who sat silently at my right also observing the crowd. Indra is already with the warriors playing arm to arm which seemed drunk enough to laugh around. I saw Costia who keeps on glancing at my direction but I kept on ignoring her. The double door opened and the sky ladies entered the room. Every grounder they passed men or women will stop and stare at them. Who wouldn't though even their wearing grounder gowns they still stand out in the crowd. I feel Emily stiffen when lady Allison glanced at her. The room went silent as they watch the 3 ladies walk towards my direction, they stop before the stairs of my throne then bowed down. I signalled them to rise and glanced at my people. I was glad enough that no negative remarks was thrown at them. This night should be festive and I know they need time to adjust with the new members of the race. They have to endure this night and try to act civil at one another afterall they are now under my protection. I turned to Emily and said "you should enjoy yourself commander .. why don't you join the sky ladies, with you by their side our people might restrain themselves in starting a second war" while smirking. She look at me and sighed "Fine." She said. Then walk towards the sky ladies table and I could see the awkwardness between the commander and Lady Allison. Well that's interesting. Then I saw Costia coming my way. I gave her a warning look which stop her tracks then she turned and run away. I just sighed and ignored her. I just can't deal with her tonight.

The night went on and some warriors are already too drunk to get up from their table. I retired for the night and walked towards my chamber. Guards bowed down as I pass by. I stopped at my tracks when I pass at the sky princess assigned chamber. The guards gave me a confused stare for I was just standing there looking at the door. I signalled them to open the door which they complied immediately. As I step inside the room I was immediately greeted by a kneeling stoned body of the sky princess. I walked towards her and when I'm arm away I also kneeled down and look at her stoned face intently. Her beautiful eyes were tightly shut with scrunch eyebrows. I gently touched her face, the once gorgeous face who could captured any heart even my stoned cold heart is now lifeless and stoned cold. Her silver like hair who once sway in every movement is now frozen into place. "Sky princess... how did you do that?..melted and froze my heart for years by your beauty.. I never thought our first meeting could be our last, I would have tried to get to know you but I was foolish and was blinded by revenge. My people should have not turned back on your people, everything would have been different. We don't deserve your mercy but still you protected us and rescued us from the same fate you and your people experienced... your fight is over now.. rest my beautiful sky princess till we meet again.." I said softly hopping a response but that would be impossible and a miracle. I gently rest my forehead on her head and a tear fell from my eyes. I immediately wipe it off and with a heavy heart I gently kiss her stone cold cheeks and walk away. I gently close the door and continued walking towards my chambers.
