Those eyes... those deep green eyes...As my mother introduced me to the grounders, I look up to the king and the hot scary green eyed girl who I assumed to be the princess of the grounders. I bowed down to show them my respect and said "Your majesties" then the king's voice filled the room "Princess of the sky people you are absolutely lovely.." as he stood up from his throne and walked over slowly to where I'm standing. I can hear my own heart pounding but I remained composed. The king stood in front of me, staring directly into my eyes without even blinking which I gladly returned. Then slowly he smiled and reached my hands. I was shocked and confused but I still took his hands and held it. "Well then sky princess start explaining now..." then he turned back to his thrown. Shit. He was damn intimidating. As I composed myself I walk back to my team, I look at my mom waiting for her signal then when she nod we started what we came here to do. "I, princess of the sky people is here before you to discuss the arising threat to our race. It all started during winter..." I signaled Allison to project the incident using her power. She positioned herself at the center then faced her palm upwards making a big rectangular force field later on an image appeared. It showed the sky forest and small village near the barriers. Ally was able to track these memories through the barriers reflection. The grounders was amazed and stared in dazed on the rectangular projections. Well that caught their attention. I spoke with loud and firm voice so that every person within the room could hear "Anna Wescote, 12 years of age, she was last seen in this part of our forest. Lady Ally harnessed the reflection of the barrier to restore this time capsule. Luckily, she was near the barrier if not same as other person missing... we would be clueless. Please look closely and watch the scene before you" Then the images moved. The little girl played catch with other kids, when the ball was tossed further rolling towards the forest the little girl run after it until it reaches the barrier, when she picked up the ball she seemed stuck just looking straight at the barrier, she slowly lift her hand and touched it then suddenly she was screaming, blue veins starting to appear on her face, arms and she disppeared. The grounders gasp to what they saw, it was horrifying indeed the moment Allyson saw a way for her to interpret the barrier's reflection Raven immediately suggested that we may find something from it and damn right we did. The room was filled with worried looks, the grounder King rubbed his temples while closing his eyes and the grounder princess even with her fierce look I could see the worry that pass through in her deep green beautiful eyes. Then Raven broke the silence "We tried so hard to find the source of this problem... we covered the search from land to skies but we always end up on nothing, blank...worst than the mystery of the black hole." Then Octavia added "But we only covered our territory... that's why we need your help, your territory is bigger than ours, if we try to search from sky to ground maybe we could find answers.." Then the once silent room was now filled with noises arguing from each other, calling us liars, some are angry and others are worried for the safety of their people. Then the princess of the grounders raised her right hand which immediately made the noise died down. She stood up walked towards me without breaking I contact, my knees almost gave up on me with her intense gaze. She stopped just an arm away from me, I returned her gaze. With this closed distance gorgeous could not justify this beautiful creature in front of me even with her scary warpaint. She searched my face before saying "Princess of the sky people what makes you think that we could help you that easily? We don't trust your kind. You killed my people and made them suffer. Now that the tables are turned what makes you think that we would help mend your sufferings?" She spat the words at me like venom that slowly poisoned my life. Her voice showed so much hatred to my people. I stepped back cause I felt suffocated with her dominating presence. I look directly at her eyes and for a moment I thought I saw something besides hatred. I composed myself before answering "Because it could not only affect us but also your people. This is bigger than any of us. We don't know who or what we up against. And if lowering our pride to ask for our enemies assistance only to save my people, I would not hesitate and kneel down before you and your people." I answered without tearing my gaze to her pools of green. We stared at each other for I don't know how long until Raven interrupted by clearing her throat. I look away and saw the grounders and my people staring, my mother the queen slightly smirked, the grounder king seemed shocked and my friends well... they seemed loving the scene they witnessed. I look back at the Grounder Princess who seemed did not mind the attention we are in, she's still staring with her expressionless look atleast I did not make her angry. She turned back to her throne and I almost sighed loudly. That girl is damn intimidating.. then my mother's voice pulled me out of my thoughts and said "King Drogo, my daughter is right, we would not risk our lives to enter our enemies territory and meeting their leaders if we are planning on betraying you and your people...now, I understand you Princess" and she glanced at her then continued "I know trusting us is very hard and should be earned... we know many years ago my husband made a mistake on declaring war upon you but this time its different he is now long dead, you have your revenge, and we made a barrier to keep both races from another blood bath. If we can't work as allies then let's treat each other plainly civil for the salvation of both races." My mom stared at the king and the princess waiting for them to respond. The king rose from his throne and said "As I said last time sky queen my people will decide your fate." Then he look at his people and said with a loud powerful voice "Grounders!! It is now time to decide if we accept their prepositions and help the sky people or decline and face the consequences on ourselves if this "being" will come also for us. Raise your swords if you think the sky people deserved our help" I did not noticed that I was holding my breath in the whole process then a few of the grounders raised their swords for us and the majority did not. "Well then that is your answer sky people. Now it's time for you to leave" the grounder king commanded.
Then that was it their soldiers began to make a human shield for their nobles and pushed their shields forward almost hitting us. Our soldiers did also a protective stance ready to defend their rulers. I immediately stand beside my mother and my team followed, for the last time I glanced at the green eyed goddess sitting calmly on her throne looking down at the chaotic scene, I was surprised to find her eyes meeting mine, I can feel my heart pounding from her intense stare and whatever this feelings might be will be unfortunately over sooner than expected. Allyson levitated and used her power to form a shield around our people, the guards transported the queen and her adviser first, Raven transformed into a big hawk to keep the grounders away from our circle. They kept on firing at us using their advanced weapons. Octavia begin to destroy metalic weapons but they are too many. I began to transport our soldiers for they don't have the power to transport on their own, until my team and I are the ones left in the vicinity. More grounders approach our circle, I let go of the energy that is waiting long enough to be released and made a firewall in order to keep the grounders away. I turned to Ally "transport to the kingdom now!! bring Raven and Octavia with you"
"No, I cannot leave you here!" Ally answered. "Release the force field your gonna hurt yourself! the firewall will hold for a while so you got to transport fast!" Octavia and Raven are still fighting but was now drained and injured from the grounders hits. Ally look at them as well with worry. I could not forgive myself if they will die right now. I was the one drag them into this and I should be the one end up dead. Then I look at Ally and said using my commanding voice "I ORDER YOU. NOW ALLY!!" Then with hesitation she run towards Octavia and Raven created a portal and drag them towards it. She looked back at me with hurt in her eyes before disappearing. I set the blaze more that it turned blue, I could hear the grounders shouting orders and trying to pass through suddenly the fire wall at front flicker and a shadow appeared, I was shocked and was frozen to my place as the shadow moved towards me closer til I saw her face, the face that in a matter of minutes imprinted to my head. The green eyed princess emerged from the flame without even a scratch on her lovely face. "Impossible.." I said in almost half whisper voice. She smirked and searched my face with her beautiful eyes. "How di..did that happen? You should be dead by now" I said. "Do you want me to be dead princess?" She said. "NO! No its not like that-" I tried to explain but she cut me off. "Then what?" She's too close that I could almost see the specs of gold in her eyes mixed with the dark green pools. "Then... nothing.." I stepped back and said "you know princess I used to defend grounders from my people for I thought there is more to you than the war that poisoned mine and your people's brain but now I regret it..." I look at her with pain and anger mixed together and said "you do love blood in your hands.." then set myself in full blaze. The last thing I saw was guilt passing through her eyes before disappearing.
