"WHERE'S NYOKO?!?! I NEED HIM NOW!!!!" My voice boomed inside the infirmary. Every nurse and doctor immediately came to my needs. I asked for the head doctor which is Nyoko to treat the sky princess. I pushed the private door where I was usually brought in when I'm injured from battle and laid the sky princess still wrap with my cape. Nyoko move in haste and almost out of breath when he saw me and the sky princess. I grabbed him from his collar and pushed him towards his gadgets and said "I want her healed got that?! No mistakes this time!" I commanded with a threat in my voice. "Yes your majesty." And barked some orders at his assistants and other doctors. I felt lady Allison's presence and just ignored her. I can't think straight right now. I am determined to save the sky princess. I too was shocked of the miracle before me. It is like the man above loves me enough to brought her back to me. I started pacing back and forth while Nyoko and his team are busy tending the princess. The lady Raven shouted "THAT'S RIGHT!!!" And noticed how loud she was and immediately covered her mouth. " What's right Raven ??" Said Octavia. "The queen blasted her blue flame which is the most strongest flame directly at her and our princess is a fire elemental that's what brought her to life. The blue fire from the queen's dragon restored her lost power..." she said with amazed tone. I just stared at them and look at their shocked and bewildered faces. "So that's why you didn't get burned... dragons served nightbloods, the royal grounders for centuries so it means fire could not harm you it will just strengthen you more..." lady Octavia said with amazement. I was shocked that they only realize it now. I just gave them blank stares then the door opened revealing Emily. She turned to me and bowed her head slightly "My queen I dismissed our people for now. I'm sure they will wait for your update about the sky princess and also the blood contract." She said. "Yes ofcourse commander" I answered plainly and glanced at the sky princess. Nyoko was now installing the heart monitor and fast beeping sound was heard which caught our attention. I immediately moved nearer to Nyoko "What's happening?" I asked. The old doctor seemed worried and immediately look at the monitors "NYOKO!! ANSWER ME!!!" I commanded and almost grabbed him luckily Emily was fast enough to restrain me "Lexa calm down. I think it would be best if you let him do his job first..okay?" She said. I calmed down but my eyes are still on the sky princess. The heart monitor is still beeping fast and red lights flicker. Doctors hover her adjusting and readjusting their equipments. One doctor injected her with something but was shocked to see the needle melting. Now all monitors are beeping and red lights flashed on the screen. Nyoko touched her arm but immediately withdraw his hand with hiss.The fluids inside the tubes are boiling and I immediately went over and pushed the doctors aside then pulled all the tubes and equipments connected to her body. Beeping stopped and the room went silent. We all look at the sky princess with worry. Then she convulsed, I scoop her up and hugged her. I didn't mind the eyes staring at us all I'm concern right now is the sky princess. She slowly stopped moving and her breathing slowly go back to normal. I look at her face and saw that she is now sleeping peacefully. A relieved sigh escaped from my lips. Then I glance at the people around me. Doctors and nurses look at me with jaws drop. Nyoko just slightly smiled and seemed happy for what he witnessed.   Emily just smirked at me with teasing looks then the 3 sky ladies stared at me with wide eyes mouths slightly opened. I cleared my throat and about to say something when Nyoko cut me off "Maybe it would be best your highness that you keep the sky princess close to you.. it seems she react positively to your presence that means her body did not classify you as a threat plus her element is fire right? That means you are the only one who could hold her without getting burned." He said with a smile. "Do not worry your highness she's safe now, she just need a lot of sleep for her system was prolonged preserved and it would take time to readjust again." He continued. "Okay .." I said softly while readjusting the princess in my arms. She curled towards my body and felt her hand touching mine. I could hear my heart beating as I look down upon the beautiful creature clinging to me. I slowly let go and positioned her comfortably at the bed. A heavy sigh escaped from her lips which I can't help but smile. That sigh is a proof that she is now living and breathing. I heard sobs coming from the 3 sky ladies. I moved away from the bed and turned to them "you can be with her now.." I said. They immediately went straight to her side looking at her with happiness and relief in their eyes. I walk out of the room to give them some privacy then Emily and Nyoko immediately followed me. I turned to them and waited for them to say something but instead they just stared at me with big wide smile plastered on their faces."WHAT?!" I said. "You are so screwed" said Emily who made Nyoko laugh, I glared at him which immediately choke back his laugh. This is the time where Emily treated me like a sister and not her queen. Nyoko being my father's doctor I already considered him as one of my family. He treated me like a daughter when my father was busy ruling the kingdom. These two people in front of me are my family not my subjects. That's why I just allowed them to tease me to their hearts content. "I am not.." I answered not meeting their eyes. Then Nyoko burst out and laugh "Oh honey you sure are" he said teasingly. "You know I can't... I would put her in danger..she would be my weakness and I cannot allow that.." I said. "Honey you deserve this chance to experience love.. you have done more than enough for us.. for your people.. it's time to give yourself a chance of happiness. And I'm sure the sky princess is powerful enough to protect herself.. she could manage.. unlike Costia." He said and frowned when he said Costia's name. And Emily also nod in agreement. I don't know why but Emily and Nyoko doesn't approve of Costia being my lover. I love Costia ...she reminds me of who and what I am but I can't resist the pull of attraction between me and the sky princess. She just made me feel alive and just by looking at her deep ocean blue eyes I could forget everything which was too dangerous for me. I'm a ruler and I cannot afford to get distracted. "What's wrong with Costia?" I finally said. "Well except for being a bitch then there is nothing wrong with her." Emily said sarcastically. "She's not that bad." I said trying to defend her. "Well I have to go and take care of the patients, see you around little ones" Nyoko said emphasizing the word little. Then Emily and I said in unison "WE ARE NOT LITTLE!" Then laugh loudly and waved goodbye. "Cmon commander we still have councils to face!" And I walk away then Emily followed wearing again our stoic faces. I can only be comfortable around Emily and Nyoko, I don't easily gave my trust and I chose to be this merciless and ruthless leader for I know they would not dare to oppose me. But whenever I saw that silver haired princess the walls that I built easily crumbled down.
