Clark

The sun is already seeping in the curtains and i remained seated on my bed staring at the door, still hopping for her arrival. I've waited for hours to see those beautiful green eyes once again but she never came. "liar..." i whispered under my breath while silently crying. I lied on my bed and stared at the ceiling when i heard a soft knock. I immediately ran towards the door expecting that green eyed goddess but instead brown eyes stared back at me with sadness in her eyes. I cleared my throat and said "Commander.. What can i do for you.." "Princess.. The queen asked for your presence in the throne room" she answered. "okay.. Just give me a minute commander I'll just have to fix myself first." i said. She nod and said "I'll just come by later to escort you Princess." "Thank you commander.. And its Clark." i said while smiling at her. She just nod and smirked but still her face still showed sadness and concern. When the commander left i immediately fixed myself. I took a bath, wore a grounder dress it is an off shoulder forest green flowing dress with a thigh high slit, i matched it with a black gladiators and just let my wavy hair flow. When i was already satisfied with my look just on cue the commander knocked on my door. We silently walked towards the throne room and i can feel something is definitely wrong by the way the commander moves. It seems like she's back to her cold hearted self. I can feel the beating of my heart going faster every second and every step i take cause i can finally see her. Maybe she wants to apologize and explain her inability to keep her word but why does it feel wrong. We stopped at the double doors of the throne room then the commander turned to me and whispered "Whatever happens behind these doors just be patient with her Clark and do not give up on her." then she opened the door without waiting for me to respond. I followed the commander and saw the queen sitting on her throne, chills run down my spine as i gaze on her beautiful face, it seems blank and cold, we stared at each other but i immediately turned away for her coldness is like sucking the life out of me. I stood in the middle then bowed. Then her powerful voice echoed in the room "Princess of the sky the council and I decided that you will stay under the supervision of the water clan and your people will be segragated to each clan due to the powers you've possessed it is just logical to put you and your people in charge in defending each clans.." my knuckles are turning white as i tried to control my emotions and my powers from bursting out. I could already feel it in my veins boiling and trying to break through. How could she do this to me. She knows damn well that my friends are the only family i have left and now she's separating us just for their convenience?! I took a deep breath before pulling myself together and finally look at her. "So your appointing us to be your warriors, is that it?" i asked her with a tone of hatred in my voice. I can see Costia snickered mocking me with that face of hers. "That is exactly what I'm asking you to do" said the queen. "No. I will not accept it." i said. Gasps heard from the councils. "How dare you opposed the Queen?!!" one council spat with anger. "You have no right!" another council said. "Ungrateful bitch!" then another. "SILENCE!!!" the queen commanded which made everyone flinch and bowed except for me who remained standing and looking directly at her without fear. We stared for i don't know how long, i could see that she's displeased with my answer. The queen before me is not the Lexa I grew to love no more tenderness and even a pinch of love in that pools of greens. It seems blank and soulless. Then she finally spoke with coldness in her voice "Its a command not a request. Here in my territory I'm the queen and I expect you to follow my orders. I hope I made myself clear Sky Princess." I felt numb and i couldn't believe how stupid I am to fall in love with this monster. All i could feel now is anger, i know my powers are now going haywire due to the intensity of my emotions. Broken is not enough to describe my feelings right now. I was hurt, betrayed and rejected at the same time. I heard gasps and i know why cause I'm already glowing with blue fire my feet is no longer touching the ground and i already burned the ground from where I'm levitating. The queen just stared at me with no hint of emotions in her eyes. "Sky princess.." the commander warned. She's already in defensive stance and moved at front making herself a shield for her queen. Soldiers swarmed the throne room making a bearier in order to protect their rulers. Pathetic... I felt my friends presence maybe they sensed my distress. They bursted the double doors and came running towards me. They were shock to see the commotion and the situation I'm in. Allison immediately levitated, Octavia prepared metals and Raven turned into a big black panther roaring at the grounders all are ready to defend their rulers. "Princess are you alright?" Allison asked. "Never been better" i answered. "Hold your fire! I repeat hold your fire!" the commander said to her soldiers. "My answer is still no your highness" i said directly to the queen who is still sitting calmly on her throne. She just stared at me and i returned her gaze with anger i know my eyes are now glowing with blue hue. Then a loud bang roared and a loud cry of pain heard from Raven my eyes grew wide as i saw blood dripping from the arm of the black panther. "WHO DARES DISOBEYED MY ORDERS!!!" the commander shouted angrily. "Raven..." i whispered then i turned to the person who shot Raven. She snickered and there i lost every self control i have. I smirked and drag her towards infront of me using my powers. I could easily see her face growing pale. I saw Ali at my peripheral view tending Raven's wound. Octavia stand infront of them for protection. "Clark.." i finally heard the queen calling my name with a warning tone. I glance at her but immediately returned my gaze to the girl who's face already showed fear. I smirked then she screamed in pain. Well who wouldn't i boiled all the fluids inside her body burning her insides in the process. "CLARK!" her voice made me stopped. I look at her and she's now standing while worry is written all over her face. Finally she showed some emotions but it pissed me off for she's more worried for her people than me. I look at the girl who is now gasping for air and crumpled on the ground. "SEE?!? LOOK HOW DANGEROUS THEY ARE! THEY SHOULD BE SEPARATED AND CONTAINED!" Costia shouted angrily. The councils nod and agreed to their Queen's fiancé. "WE'RE NOT A FUCKING ANIMAL!!!" Octavia answered back. "ENOUGH!!!" The queen's angry voice boomed in the throne room making the room quiet. "Take the girl to the infirmary and strip her down from her position for disrespecting her commander." the soldiers immediately complied carrying the girl away from the scene.  "As for you, you are banned to use your powers.. Our scientist will provide a special bangle that can restrain your powers and only I or the commander can remove it." just on cue 2 grounder people arrived wearing labgowns and they are carrying 4 bangles in their hands. They are hesitant to approach us especially that we're still in power mode. Soldiers moved forward ready to attack us if we will try to defy again the queen. I look at Allison, Raven and Octavia who are waiting for my command. I turned to the queen and stared at her "I hate you.." i spat. I thought i saw something beneath that warpainted eyes of hers as i said those words but i know i shouldn't trust her. I blasted blue fire around making the soldiers moved backwards without looking away from the queen i intensified my flames challenging her.  Allison immediately put a barrier to protect us from their weapons, the castle began to shake as Octavia reached the metals from the ground turning her eyes pitched black
