I heard breaking of glasses and clashing of things inside the Queen's chamber. I immediately opened her door and was shocked to see her room torn into pieces and at the center of the chaos was a broken queen kneeling down. I immediately ran towards her "Lexa..."i worriedly called her name. When i got nearer i heard her sob it is the first time i saw Lexa cried like this after her mother died. I could feel how broken she is, i could see how she struggled to maintain her stoic face and not show any emotion towards the princess but i know she's dying inside thats why i begged Clark and warned her from the beginning but still the stubborn princess still didn't get it. I couldn't blame her though she's also broken from this turn of events. We are all broken. I hugged Lexa and just let her cry her heart out till there's no more tears left to cry. "I love her Em.. I love her.. And I can't stand seeing her get hurt because of me.. This is the only way I could protect her and keep her safe.." Lexa said. "I know Lexa and you did a good job protecting her.. I know someday she will understand everything and it will all make sense to her.." i said. "I know it will cause I'll erase the memory we spend together.. I would become a stranger to her. I will be just the grounder queen to her and nothing more." Lexa said painfully. "what?! Lexa you don't need to do that.. What you have is special i know Clark wouldn't want that to happen.." i said. "It's better that way Em.. I have to erase all their memory about us.." she said. I stumbled on the ground feeling weakened knowing that Allison will also forget about me. "I'm sorry...you also have to go through this.
" the queen said with sadness in her eyes. "you don't have to say sorry Lex.. I accepted my fate before I was even in my mother's womb."i said and sadly smiled." Maybe in another life we will get our happy ending.. " i continued while facing the queen." yeah maybe we do.. "she answered while smiled weakly but sadness in her eyes was still evident. Silence reigned in the four corners of the room. I glance at the queen and still saw pain in that beautiful face of hers too different from the strong and mighty queen she showed in the throne room. After the ice nation council talked to her during her engagement party she immediately summoned me and there I saw for the very first time she showed fear. Fear for Clark 's life. The the ice nation council knew about their growing relationship, she threatened the queen to expose Clark as her mistress and planned on taking over the throne, she will make a false news making the people hate the sky princess. The ice nation still did not trust the four sky people and still assume them as a threat to the kingdom due to their powers and in order to settle the issues down the Queen showed the ice nation that she still holds the power and the upper hand by making that scene. Due to her duties she sacrificed her own happiness and tortured herself in order to protect what she valued the most. That's a true queen and as her commander and the only family she has left I will stay by her side till the end. Even it means leaving the only chance of happiness I have.
