Chapter 13

We entered inside the portal and I can feel the Queen's determination to find the sky princess body. As we entered, I signalled my team to stay close to each other, the surroundings is too dark, I positioned myself in front of the Queen to protect her easily, Lady Allison enclosed us in her protective shield as we walk in the pit of darkness. We cannot light our torches cause it might catch some attention to the reapers. We were alert with our surroundings, we heightened our senses for possible threats. Then we saw something glow ahead, it is flickering constantly, I felt Lady Allison move towards it and every flicker of the light we could see the pathway and our surroundings. The place was covered with ashes and burned wood. We move forward towards the flickering light and distinct voices of the creatures was heard. Every step we take towards the light the louder the noises was. Then we saw a pack of reapers surrounding the flickering light. We stopped in our tracks and shock on what we saw. The flickering light came from the sky princess herself but she seemed turned into stone. I felt lexa's glance on me and turned to her, she nod and signalled me to attack, I turned to our men and gave the go signal. Then we rushed towards the pack of reapers as silently as possible. Lady Allison levitated and tried to move the sky princess as slowly as possible without alerting the reapers. I snuck up and shot reapers within my eye sight. I saw lexa go through one reaper from another beheading them one by one with smooth and fast movements. I saw our men fighting from swords, daggers, arrows and silencers. I look up and saw Lady Allison levitating the sky princess slowly. A loud roar caught our attention then a pack of reapers running towards our direction. "FALL BACK!!!!" Lexa shouted and immediately run. Lady Allison used her left hand to create a force field which give us some time to run towards the opening of the portal. We shoot and slice reapers that is in our way while running fast. I saw the sky princess body levitated out of the reaper's lair. Lexa and I look back at Lady Allison who is still holding the force field in place. Reaper's are scratching and pushing through the barrier until they piled up with each other. "LADY ALLISON MOVE BACK!!!" Lexa said. I can see Lady Allison is now struggling to hold the barrier. She slowly moved backwards  while holding the force field into place. "GO YOUR MAJESTY!!" She shouted. "NO! THE COMMANDER AND I WILL STAY WITH YOU!" Lexa said while in a fighting stance. We waited for her to reach our position. The reapers at the other side are getting violent and aggressive. They are persistent in breaking the barrier. Our men also stayed and wait but are ready to fight. Then we heard Lady Octavia shouting in the entrance of the portal "MOVE BACK FAST ALI!! I'LL CREATE A BLOCKADE IN THERE PORTAL USING THE METALS!!!" She said. I look back at Lady Allison and met her gaze. I can see that she's already tired and her icy blue eyes holds worry. I nod at her and said "let's go lady Allison.."  I took her right hand and ran fast. I look at Lexa and our men running fast towards Lady Octavia. The force field is still up until we reached the opening of the portal. "Listen Ali try to hold it until I complete the blockade okay?" Lady Octavia said. Lady Allison nod and closed her eyes to concentrate more. I noticed that Lexa is staring at my hand that's when I remembered that I'm still holding Lady Allison's hand, I tend to pull away but I can feel her grip tightened then I gave her a reassuring squeeze. When I glanced back at Lexa she smirked and looked away. Metals are flying and bending to block the reaper's portal. "Octaviaaaa...faster.." Lady Allison said. I look at her and beads of sweat run through her forehead. I could really see she's struggling to hold it, I moved my thumb in soft circular motions to help her relax and it seems to work for her breathing slowed down. "Almost done Ali.." Lady Octavia said while moving and patching metals on the portal. "Octavia.. I.. I...can't hold it..much longer..." then the barrier disappeared and a hound of reapers came rushing forward. Lady Allison fell unconscious and luckily I was fast enough to caught her before she hits the ground. I saw Lexa  barking commands at the warriors. "INDRA PROTECT THE SKY PRINCESS KEEP HER BODY SAFE!" She said. Indra immediately complied. I carried Lady Allison and run towards a safer place. "WARRIORS GET READY FOR BATTLE!! NO REAPER SHOULD PASS THROUGH ALIVE !!!" I said. "YES COMMANDER!!" They said in unison. "OCTAVIAAAAA!!!!" Lady Raven shouted with warning. "Almossst donnee..." Lady Octavia said. Then before the reapers could reached the portal it was now completely blocked with massive metals bended and molded together. Lady Octavia fell down with a relief sigh. She wiped the beads of sweat falling from her forehead. We could hear reapers at the other side smashing and scratching the metals. "FUCKING LEACHES YOU GO TO HELL WHERE YOU BELOOONGGG!!!!!" Lady Raven shouted and we all look at her with amused stares. Then Indra broke down and laugh. We were all shocked and stared at her. When she finally noticed that everyone is looking at her cheeks immediately turns red then she cleared her throat without looking at us. I look down at the beautiful woman in my arms who is still unconscious. I slightly smiled on how peaceful she looks when sleeping and how perfectly fit she is in my arms. Lexa stared at me and smirk again to my actions. I can't help but feel my cheeks burning with embarrassment. Our men let out a victorious howl. Even if we didn't erased all the reapers we still managed to retrieve the sky princess body without losing or injuring any soldiers. Plus we were able to block their portal for now. I saw Lexa staring intently to something then I followed her gaze and landed to the sky princess stoned body. I can't help but felt sad for her, I could see how hard she suppressed her emotions for the beautiful princess. I could see the sadness passing through that beautiful forest green eyes of her. I even felt their connection before and how they exchange intense stares. That is the very first time I saw the queen showing emotions and the second when she heard the death of the same person who brought life to her eyes.
