Chapter 32

Clark

I composed myself and we walked back to the party. I saw Octavia and Raven's faces with relief as me and Ali entered the crowd. Suddenly one grounder from a higher rank base on his tattoos blocked my way "Princess!!! There you are !! Can I offer you a drink??" He said while smiling. I saw Ali will about to answer for me but I immediately answered "sure!" Then I grabbed the bottle instead of the glass he offered and drown it all at once. I saw the other grounders from his table with shock looks, when the bottle was already empty I gave it back to him and said "thanks.." and I walked towards Octavia and Raven. I just heard the grounder said "Wow..." and they all cheered for me. I just smiled at them and felt someone staring at me as I scan the crowd I saw the queen holding her glass looking at me, she seemed pissed off but I just ignored it and sat down on my chair. I grabbed a bottle from the servants and start drinking again. I saw Ali frowned, Octavia and Raven are still shocked for what I did. "Alright that's enough you drowned 3 bottles already.." Ali said. "Oh c'mon Ali let's just have some fun for tonight pleaseee.." I said giving her my puppy dog eyes. I saw them looking at each other then Ali sighed and said "fine! Whatever." "Yes! Love you!" I said immediately. This night is fucked up so why not enjoy it. After crying my heart out I decided that it's time to let it go, to let this feelings go. I couldn't change the fact that she doesn't even care, she didn't even show a single spark of emotions... maybe she really does love that girl. Maybe I was wrong from the very beginning. I accepted the fact that I was wrong for letting myself fall for that green eyed goddess. I emptied bottle to bottle. My friends joined me in drowning my heart out. Raven got crazier each time passes. I saw Ali started dancing to the beat, moving seductively. Octavia cheering Ali by raising her glass. I laugh at them and pushed my heart ache further until I feel numb. The beat of the music getting louder and faste, I rose up from my seat and pulled Alison towards the crowd of grounders dancing. We moved to the beat and the rhythm. I could feel every grounder staring at us dancing seductively but I don't really care. Octavia and Raven joined us, we laughed, danced and drank every bottle we could find. I couldn't feel my legs or my hands anymore and just feel the beat.

Emily

I could feel my anger pulsating as I saw the sky ladies dancing at the center of the crowd. There's nothing wrong with dancing but seeing them danced especially Clark's and Allison's stunt a moment ago makes me want to shoot daggers to every men and women staring at them with lust and wonder. They made a simple dance into a sexy show. I felt someone sat beside me and spoke "control your emotions for tonight Emily I know you want to grab and lock them inside their chambers especially lady Allison over there.. but look at the queen..." based on first name basis and an old man's voice I know it's Nyoko sitting beside me. I turned to the queen and I could see she's struggling to control her emotions. She could almost break the arm rests of her throne base on how she gripped them tightly. I saw Costia trying her hardest to draw the queen's attention but failed everytime. I sighed and said "She's hurting herself...why can't she admit her weakness and be happy with it! Now I have to endure this night without killing anybody." Then Nyoko laughed and said "ahhh young love so exciting.." while smiling. I just rolled my eyes and look straight ahead where a crowd of grounders dancing encircling the sky ladies at the center. One wrong move from the men and I swear I'll cut their heads.

Clark

The crowd was suffocating me and I feel like I needed some air. I pushed myself away from the crowd and many times I stumbled down but I tried to compose myself and walked properly as I could. I entered the castle halls and leaned on the wall for support. I walked slowly until I reached an half opened door. I decided I'd stay in that room for a while until I can walk on my own. I saw fireplace and a big couch I immediately walked towards it and throw myself in the couch. I laid down and look at the fire dancing I raised my hand and made the fire blue and calm. I smiled to myself and sighed. I closed my eyes and just listened to the fading music outside. I heard the door opened and foot steps walking towards me. I didn't even bother to look at the person disturbing my peaceful rest, I'm just too tired to even care. "I'm sorry if this is your room... I just need to rest a little bit from all that dancing and drinking.." I said while slowly getting up from the couch. I turned to the person standing and was shocked to see the Queen. "Oh your highness sorry about the intrusion..I'll leave now.." I said and immediately walked passed her with haste but before I could reach the door she grabbed my arm and pin me down to the wall. I was so shocked I couldn't even react to her sudden movements. I looked directly into her eyes and saw anger and pain in it. "You know princess your pushing me to the edge and you don't want to deal with me if I reached my limit.." she said with gritted teeth. I was shocked and pissed off on what she said I pulled my hands releasing myself from her deadly grip and stared at her matching her anger "how dare you?! I pushed you to the limit?! I am sick and tired of caring about you! Hoping that even just a little you might feel something about me! You might feel the spark between us! But I am so damn wrong cause I'll I could see now is a heartless queen who only cares about her power! " I said angrily and pushed her away from me then walked out of the door.  I was pulled back inside the room and she slammed the door shut. I could hear her breathing unsteadily trying to control her emotions. "Let go of me!" I said matching her anger. But instead she gripped my arms tighter crushing me against the door. I could die just looking at that fiery forest green eyes. I could feel her anger radiating towards me, I tried not to flinch but I could already feel the fast beating of my heart. Our faces are inch apart and all we did was look into each other's eyes. I see mixed emotions passing through that beautiful greens. She moved closer making me moved back until I hit my head on the door. I was trapped and she leaned closer until our foreheads touched. I closed my eyes in order to escape from that angry green pools. I heard her heavily sighed and slowly let go of my arms. I opened my eyes and saw her moved back. She stared at me with so much emotions in them like she wants to say something, I've waited for her to open up but she chose to look away and said "I'm sorry..." half whispered. A tear fell from my eyes, she looked at me with pain in her eyes, we stared at each other for a long time processing the feelings we have for each other. Her eyes gave away her feelings for me, her eyes felt like pulling me back to her but her words are too different from her actions. I sighed and wipped my tears away. I can't do this. "If you can't be true to yourself then stay away from me." I said with firm voice. I turned around to open the door but she slammed it back and suddenly pulled me towards her locking her lips to mine, kissing me hungrily unleashing all her desires, after my initial shock I started responding to her with equal desire. She pushed me further to the door trapping me between her body. She trailed her hands towards my thighs and gently carried me, I immediately wrapped my legs around her waist. We continued kissing, our tongue fighting for dominance then we heard a knock "Your highness?" The voice from the side of the door said. We stopped kissing and looked at each other. Lexa scanned my face with mixed emotions. I gently caressed her perfect face, she leaned on to my touch and closed her eyes. "Your highness? Your people requests the presence of their ruler" The voice said again. "I'll be right there Titus" Lexa said without taking her eyes off me. She gently put me down on my feet but did not moved away. We heard Titus sighed from the other side and walked away. "You made him mad.." I said while smiling. "He'll get over it." She said and also smiled. She sighed while leaning her forehead to mine. "Let's talk about this later okay?" She said half whispered while staring directly at my eyes intently. I just nod and smiled. I leaned over and kissed her lips again and this time we kissed more gently like we're savoring the sweetness and softness of our lips. "Your so beautiful..." she whispered when we stopped kissing. I blushed from her intent stares and sweet words. Then she smiled and kissed my cheeks before putting distance between us. "I need to get back now... I'll send someone to escort you in your room." She said while caressing my cheeks. "No it's okay I can manage, don't worry." I said. She stared at me before nodding and said "very well.. I'll see you later." I moved away from the door and said "see you.. lexa.." while smiling sweetly at her. She stopped in her tracks and turned back at me. I was surprised when she closed the distance between us and kissed me pationately before letting go and walked out of the door. I didn't even have time to respond to that kiss. I touched my swollen lips while staring at the closed door. Damn that girl!
