I stood on in front of the body sized mirror, and I looked myself up and down. I admired my white lace dress. But it wasn't me. I didn't want a big wedding like this, I wanted it simple. But Daniel didn't agree with me.
He wanted everything I didn't, sometimes I wondered why I was marrying him. He never listened to me, I never had a say in anything. I heard the door clicked and I looked over seeing my best friend walk in the door.
"Dally you came!" I gushed. I picked up the ends of my dress, rushing over to him pulling him in for a hug. "Sadly yes." He sighed jokingly. I rolled my eyes pulling out of his embrace. He looked me up and down smirking to himself. "Never thought I would see the day Y/N Y/L/N wears a dress," he laughed.
"Well just to warn you, this will be the last time." I giggled. He bit his lip, and I noticed his eyes turn a little darker. "You look beautiful," he smirked. I blushed turning away from him and looked into the mirror. "Don't you think it's too much?" I frowned. He looked to the mirror looking in my eyes. "Not really, but I know you. This is not something you would wear."
My mom walked in and she had a big smile, but it disappeared when she saw Dally. "What are you doing here?" She asked. I felt my blood boil a little. "I invited him," I stated. She looked at me, then her smile returned. "It's time baby girl." She squealed. My stomach turned and I felt sick.
"Ok, can I have a second?" I asked nervously. She nodded and slowly backed out closing the door behind her. "Dally I can't do this! My mom is forcing this on me. I'm not ready!" I cried. His eyes softened a little and he came over to me whipping away the tears. "Y/N it's gonna be ok. If you're not ready, tell him." He said lightly.
I looked up into his eyes and noticed how the glowed in the light. "I don't love him, Dal. I love you." I blurted out. His eyes went wide, and I blushed. Why did I say that?! He probably doesn't want to be friends with me anymore! "I-I... I love you to Y/N. I always have." He said.
Without warning, he smashed his lips onto mine, and I felt my stomach do flips with joy. This is what I have wanted for years since we've been friends. We pulled away catching our breaths and we just stood there staring into each other's eyes smiling. "Run away with me Y/N." He said. I frowned pulling away from him.
"What about Daniel and my mom?" I asked. He smiled shaking his head. "They would never accept us and you know that," he said. I sighed shrugging, he was right. I ripped the bottom of my dress making it shorter and I looked up at him with a smirk. "Let's do this," I said.
He smiled taking my hand in his, and we snuck out the back of his car and with left without anyone knowing.
