Today is the day we go back to school, and boy was i a nervous wreck. Me and my brother Steve we're walking to the Curtis's house to meet up with my friends to school. They were basically our family, because were both at there house 24/7. "Hi y/n!" I heard Pony yell making me break from my thoughts and look up seeing him running towards us.

"Hey Pony! Are you ready to start 5th grade?" I asked him seeing him nod. "I'm super excited," his voice cracked from puberty. I giggled lightly and we walked into the house seeing the rest of the gang hanging out and getting ready. "Hey y/n!" Soda yelled pulling me in for a tight hug. Me and Soda were best friends and he was like another brother to me. "Hey Soda. You guys almost ready to started heading for school?" I asked sitting down next to Johnny.

"Almost, Two isn't here yet." Darry said popping his head out of the bathroom. He was a senior this year. Lucky. I nodded and I started watching Tv with Johnny and Pony. "I'm here sorry for being late." Two said rushing through the door catching his breath. He looked up to me and blushed walking in and sitting in the chair next to the couch. "Alright well let's go. Bye mom and dad see you tonight." Yelled Darry and so did the rest of the gang and we started walking down the street to school.

"Hey y/n, you look really pretty today," Two mumbled walking next to me and Soda. I blushed lightly giggling looking to my sneakers. "Thank you Two." I smiled lightly making him grin widely. "I was wondering if you'd wanna go get some pizza with me after school." I felt butterflies in my stomach and my hands tingle. Was he asking me on a date. "Oh Two likes y/n." Soda chanted making everyone look back and laugh as well. He looked away embarrassed. "I'd love to."

He looked up with wide eyes. He smirked walking next to me and wrapped his arm over my waist. "Ew boys have cooties." I laughed making two laugh as well. "Well I guess you're gonna have cooties then to," he smiled. "Guys we're almost late." Pony yelled making everyone groan. We started running and made our way past some adults on they're way to work. Being late to the first day of 7th grade didn't sound good.

We made it to school grounds and everyone split up and went to they're schools. "See you tonight." Two said letting me go and walking to his class and waved. "See you later," I said walking into my class.
