"Hey guys," i said as all the boys walked in. They all said greetings in return sitting down in the living room with me. "Well how was it?" I asked and Dally spoke up with a laugh. "We won we drove the Socs right out of our territory. They were scared for there life's." He said making me laugh lightly. "I'm sure they were Dal." I smiled lightly seeing Johnny out of the corner of my eye.

He touched the fresh cut on his face seeing the blood on his finger tips. "Hey Johnny come with me," i said pulling him up lightly pulling him to the bathroom. I grabbed a clean rag soaking it with water and soap. "You don't have to. I can do it myself." He said lightly sitting down on the toilet seat. I shook my head lightly sitting in front of him cleaning his cuts and all the dirt off his face. "I want to do it."

After a hour, i had finished and he stood up giving me a shy grin. "Thank you Jaeden." He said and gave me a light hug. "It's no problem Johnny." I said lightly hugging him back tightly patting his back. We walked outside and i froze when i seen the familiar figure that stood in the middle of the living room with a jug of whiskey in there hand.

"Dad what are y-you doing here," Johnny said making his dad's head jerk towards us. "Do you have any idea how late it is boy. You had me and your mother worried sick. Don't you ever think of anyone but yourself, your so selfish." His dad yelled stomping towards Johnny standing over raising his hand to the air. "Hey I think it's time for you to leave buddy." Dally said grabbing his hand before it made contact to Johnny's face. His dad yelled pulling his hand out of Dally's grip.

"Don't you fucking touch me boy." He yelled pushing Dally and stumbling over his feet falling. "What a drunk," Dally mumbled with a eye roll. Johnny's dad passed out on the floor and Dal and Two drug him out the door by his arms. "I'm the selfish one," Johnny laughed lightly, tears running down his cheeks.

"Johnnycake don't worry about him." I said walking to him. "He said I make them worry, they don't care about me. Half the time they lock the door and forget i even exist. You know the only reason he came here looking for me was because i got paid for working." He yelled taking me off guard. Johnny never yelled.

"I can't stand them Jaeden. I can't stay with them anymore, I hate them so much!" He cried falling to the couch covering his face as he cried. "I hope i never become like him. If i ever treated my own kids like this i wouldn't be able to live with myself." He whispered lightly with a sniffle. I sat down in front of him grabbing his hands pulling them away from his face slowly.

"Johnny your one of the strongest, caring, smartest, and most loving person i know. You will never be like him, because you're your own person. Don't let him define who you are. Your perfect the way you are, and i love who you are." I said making him smile lightly. I kissed his cheek pulling him in for another hug. "Hey Johnny he's gone man." Two said walking in as we pulled away. Johnny nodded lightly wiping his eyes.

"Thank you guys." Johnny said making Two pat him on the shoulder. "Don't worry he won't mess with you anymore, because Darry said you can stay with us." Pony smiled lightly making Johnny's eyes light up. "Really Darry?" He said making Darry nodded with a grin.

"You're apart of this family, and i wan't you safe so you will be staying with us for now on." He said making Johnny thank him. "This is the best day ever." Johnny cheered sitting down on the couch making everyone laugh lightly.
