"Hey Y/N! You wanna go for a walk with me?" Pony asked. We were at the Curtis's house and I was bored out of my mind. I nodded getting up and walking next to him. We both walked out of the house and I could hear TwoBit tell at us. "Stay safe kids! Use protection!" I felt my heart pick up speed and my cheeks heat up.

"Shut your trap Two!" Pony yelled. I laughed walking down the steps of his house and onto the sidewalk. Pony was next to me scratching his neck awkwardly. "I swear Two is something else." Pony mumbled. I laughed nodding my head agreeing with him. I didn't really mind it though I did have a little crush on Pony. But everyone knows he likes cherry.

"So where are we going Pony?" I asked breaking the award silence. He cleared his throat looking to me. "Well, I was thinking just go to the park to meet up with Johnny." He said. I nodded looking straight ahead. If I stared any longer I would probably drool. I heard a car approach us from behind and I turned seeing a wine red Mustang makes it's way to us slowly.

"Socs heading our way," I whispered to Pony. He turned back taking a short look before turning ahead and picking up his speed. I started to speed up when I heard them get closer. "Hey, there greasers!" The driver said.

I recognized that voice, I turned shortly to see Bob and his friend Randy in the front seat. "Just leave us alone! We don't want no trouble!" I said firmly. They began to laugh as the Mustang made a sharp turn in front of us and getting out. "But we do," Randy said.

"Run," Pony whispered. I turned to him with fear filling up inside me. "Run!" He yelled. He grabbed my hand and we both took off running past the Socs and down into a trial I didn't recognize. My chest began to burn as Pony continued to run. "Pony I can't," I whimpered. I tripped over my feet and landed on the cold dew grass, and Pony landed on top of me.

"Are you ok?" He asked worriedly. I nodded staring into his green eyes. His breath fanned my face and for a second I thought he was gonna kiss me. "Yeah I'm alright," I said through harsh breaths. He got off of me and extended a hand out for me to grab. I gladly accepted it getting up and wiping myself off.

"Find them!" We heard a low voice growl. I looked at Pony with wide eyes, and he grabbed my hand once again and with continued to run. This time a bit slower so I could catch up. Once we made it into town we hid in an alley and waited for them to pass. Once they did I let out a long breath I didn't know I was holding and let out a nervous laugh.

"That was a close one," I sighed.
