"Lexi wake up! You're late for school!" Steve yelled into the room, causing me to shot up out of bed. I couldn't be late today, i had a important test to take! "Late! I can't be late!" I mumbled still half asleep trying to slip on my pants. I managed to make it to the bathroom without falling, and I looked into the mirror. I looked an absolute mess, but I had no time to do anything so I simply put it up out of my way.

I brushed me teeth, no having time to take a shower I went and slipped on a shirt off my dresser and stumbled down the stairs. "Where are my shoes," I hissed looking underneath the couch because they weren't in there usual spot. "In here babe," I heard Steve say from the kitchen. I got up off the floor and walked to the kitchen seeing them next to the back door of the house. I looked out the window and my eyes widened. There was about 1 foot of snow covering the yard.

"There's no way i'm going to school in this weather." I huffed sitting down in a kitchen chair crossing my arms pouting. Now I was gonna have to wait to take the test tomorrow. I'm was probably gonna fail it anyways. "Babe its a joke, schools cancelled and they called and said i won't have to work tonight." Steve laughed seeing the pout clear on my face. "Well geez why didn't you tell me that before I got dressed bozo." I groaned rubbing my face feeling all the stress I had leave me body.

"Because it was funny," He snickered walking over to me handing me a mug. I took a drink and I hummed in satisfaction. Steve knew how to make the best hot chocolate ever. "You go change into some pj's and i'll pick out a movie." He smiled pecking my lips and walked into the living room. I rushed up the steps and slipped on Steve's shirt and pajama pants. And fuzzy socks, couldn't forget that. I fixed my hair up a little nicer and walked back downstairs taking a seat on the couch wrapping a blanket around myself.

"What movie did you pick," I asked taking another sip of my hot chocolate. "It's a surprise." He said putting in a disc, and taking a seat next to me and getting up underneath the cover with me. I smiled lightly seeing the title of the movie pop up. It was the Mickey Mouse Christmas special, I loved watching this movie in the winter time. I cozied myself up into Steve's chest and laid my head on his shoulder looking up to him with a smile.

"Thank you for everything." I said making him grin lightly and look down to me. "Of course baby, anytime." He kissed me lightly and we went back to watching the movie.
