Ponyboy Imagine

There he was. Walking the schools hallway with his friends Twobit and Johnny. He stood in the middle of the boys laughing at a joke Two made up, me and him use to be friends until I moved away. This would be my first day back in Tulsa since 5 years ago. I smiled to myself picturing all the good times we had in my head. We dated until I ended it a month after me leaving. It hurt both of us but it had to be done, I couldn't have him waiting here for me.

I was broke out of my thoughts when a girl ran up to him and kissed him. I felt my heart break and I frowned to myself, seeing as he moved on. But I was glad he wasn't hung up over or break up, he grabbed her hand and they walked out of the school together. "Y/N is that you?" A boys voice spoke from behind me. I turned around and seen it was Twobit. I pulled off one of the best smiles I could.

"Hey Two. Long time no see." I said making him break out into a large grin pulling me in for a bear hug. "It's been so long! It's so good to see you, wait until Pony hears about this!" He smirked pulling away from the hug. "Johnny come over here! It's Y/N!" Two yelled making Johnny turn away from his locker and come walking over to us. "I've m-missed you," He said lightly pulling me in for a hug as well. "I've missed you guys to! Im glad I'm back."

We walked out of the school together, and we started talking about the gang. "There all gonna be so happy to see you! Man we've all missed you!" Two said making me smile and blush. We stood out in front the Curtis's house and I grew nervous. Would Pony be happy to see me? Would the gang react like Two and Johnny did when they see? "Come on Y/N!" Two said yanking my arm towards the door.

"I-I can't do this. I'm sorry guys!" I said before yanking my arm back and walking away. "Y/N wait!" I hear Two's scream behind me, I take a short peck behind me and was shocked to see Pony standing on the front porch watching me with wide eyes and flushed cheeks. I turned forward and picked up my pace. I was almost out of sight when I heard feet hitting against the pavement and me being tackled to the ground.

"Where the hell do you think you're going?" I heard a voice speak. I look up and see Pony, he's changed so much. "I don't know Pony. I just couldn't face the gang! Especially after 5 years! People change Pony!" I stated standing up wiping the grass off my pants. "What about me? You didn't want to see me?" He asked hurt flashing across his eyes.

I sighed putting my face in my hands. "Pony I was scared. I didn't think any of you would want to see me, it's been 5 years for fucks sake!" I yelled the last part taking myself and Pony by surprise. "I would be happy to see you. I've waited 5 years for you Y/N."

"Pony you can't do that, I seen you with your girlfriend." I said making him shake his head. "I ended it with her a little bit ago, because I knew she couldn't replace you. I want you back Y/N. For good this time, I don't care if you have to move away for 5 more years. I'll wait decades for you." He said walking up to me and laying his hand on my cheek caressing it with his thumb. He moved in pressing his lips on mine softly and I melted into it missing the feeling of his lips on mine.

He pulled away smiling. "I love you Y/N," He said making my eyes go wide. "I love you to Ponyboy." I smiled pulling him in for another kiss.
