The Healer and Destroyer: PART 1 [Alex Summers/ Havok]

1. "Neat Trick."

I ran around the corner of the building to get out of sight from the men chasing me but I guess that's what I get for stealing. I leaned against the wall to catch my breath before realizing my side was stinging, reaching down to touch it a red liquid covered my hand making me realize, I've been shot. I groaned in annoyance before shutting my eyes and concentrating on my wound. I held my hand under the wound and within a couple seconds the bullet fell out with my skin healing where it once was. I took a deep breath throwing the bullet down onto the ground.

I waited to hear the metal of the bullet hit the ground but I never did. Instead I glanced over to see two men smiling, one of them hovering the bullet over his index finger. I stared at them wide eyed as the man with the bullet spoke, "Neat trick."

I frowned at them before glancing down to my stomach where the bullet was just at and back up to them, "Shit."

I know this is a really short chapter but the rest of the story will be longer!!!!

also fun fact, I'm eating frozen grapes and I feel like I can survive off of them because they. are. so .good.
