Within a short amount of time we were all messing around in the room. Alex and Sean were beating on Darwin testing his adapting abilities, it was quite entertaining to watch Alex and Sean fail being that Darwin's mutation could adapt to anything.
Sean came up in front of Darwin after getting a running start to attempt to aggravate his mutation by hitting him with a chair but it simply bounced off. That was until Alex found a metal pipe of some sort.
"Harder." Darwin yelled as Alex continued to hit him with the metal that was also bouncing off of him.
As for the rest of us, Hank was hanging off of the chandelier, Angel was flying around the room, and Raven and I were dancing on the furniture watching Darwin get hit.
The room was completely destroyed from all the ruckus but that was soon stopped by Charles and Erik returning along with Moira who I was lucky to have briefly met.
"What are you doing?" A woman's voice screamed, soon matching it to Moira who stood in front of Erik and Charles in the court yard. They all carried a disapproving look on their faces making us all stop and stare back at them.
"Who destroyed the statue?" Moira demanded as she pointed to the statue that was now sliced in half. Hank quickly spoke, "It was Alex."
The guys looked at him in disappointment as Angel, Raven, and I started laughing.
Raven ran to the hole in the wall, still laughing. "No Havok. We have to call him Havok. That's his name now and we were thinking you should be Professor X and you should be Magneto." She said pointing at the men standing outside the room.
Quite frankly, they were great names but out of the three of them, if looks could kill we all would be dead.
"Exceptional." Erik spoke still with a disapproving look before walking off, Moira following.
We all looked to Charles who stared back at Raven, "I expect more from you."
He walked off in the same direction as Erik and Moira leaving us quiet. I hung my head low before walking up to Raven and putting my hand on her shoulder for comfort.
"At least they didn't say anything about the window." Sean remarked making us all groan.
"Shut up man." Alex hissed before smacking him slightly on the arm.
Everyone settled down onto the furniture that wasn't broken where Raven and I continued standing.
I gave her smile which she returned but I knew it wasn't a sincere smile. I swiftly turned around going to sit on the couch waiting for whatever was to follow. I didn't say a word, neither did anyone else. We just sat and sulked wondering if we still had a part in what we were here for in the first place.
And after a couple more minutes of sulking we were eventually transferred to a different room but even there we continued to sulk. I guess Alex and Darwin were done with sulking when they got up to play with the ping pong machine in the corner of the room.
"Woah."
"Alright."
"Jesus man you're killing me." Darwin spoke.
"Don't beat yourself up, I've had a lot of spare time." Alex replied.
I sat in between Hank and Sean while Angel and Raven sat on the opposing couch. We were slightly laughing at the remarks and jokes Sean was making. Not only that but questions were exchanged with dull answers, "Where are you from?" Raven asked us, I sunk in my seat as everyone answered leaving me the only one left.
"Outside of D.C." I began. "My mom and brother live there but I never stayed with them, I found it hard to adjust once my mutation surfaced." I whispered, they all nodded as if agreeing. Raven told me before she had problems with adjusting before Charles found her in his kitchen, she smiled at the memory as she told me.
