The Healer and Destroyer: PART 1 [Alex Summers/ Havok]

11. "Don't stop."

I walked inside after my run around the mansion. Once I stepped through the door I immediately stopped almost running into someone walking from the hallway to my right.

"Guys, the president is about to make his address." Raven said as she stopped in front of us. I glanced over to Alex before we both followed her into the living room where everyone was already waiting.

"It shall be the policy of this nation to regard any nuclear missile crossing the embargo line that surrounds Cuba as an attack by the Soviet Union on the United States." The President started to say but my focus was taken away as a foot tapping slightly next to me, it belonged to Alex. I sighed knowing that with everything that's going on but also the tension between us is driving him insane. It is for me too, I can't sleep because of it.

I reached down touching his leg causing him to look down at my hand before grabbing it. He relaxed under my touch.

Glancing over to meet Alex's eyes he gave me a reassuring smile as I returned it. Both of our smiles reassuring the other that everything's going to be fine.

"That's where we're going to find Shaw." Erik pointed as he muted the TV.

We all glanced over to him, "How do you know?" Alex asked.

"Two superpowers facing off and he wants to start World War 3." Charles spoke followed by Erik mumbling something else but yet again I was distracted by my own thoughts of how horrible this might end.

"I suggest you all get a good nights sleep." Erik spoke looking at all of us before exiting the room. I followed Alex's gaze as we both watched Erik leave the room. His blood must be boiling with anger.

Everyone went their own ways including Alex who kissed my head before ran upstairs to get ready for the mission. As for me, I began pacing the house. I have so much anxiety about the mission, Alex, and yet again the reoccurring nightmares which are getting worse as the mission gets closer and closer.

"Hey are you alright?" Someone asked making me jump slightly.

I turned around to see Hank standing in the doorway of the mansion.

I nodded, "Yeah just some anxiety about the mission. I've been having really bad nightmares about it."

This time he nodded, stepping closer to me. "I might have something in the lab you could take to ease your mind so you can sleep. You're going to want to get a good night sleep before we leave."

I quickly looked up to him almost frightening him at how fast I moved. "Really? That would be really great if you did."

"Yeah, I can bring it to your room if you'd like?"

"Oh yeah, thank you Hank." I smiled before he hurried off to the lab.

I didn't know what Hank was going to give me but at this point I really didn't care. The nightmares were beginning to haunt me throughout the day, I feel like I'm going insane.

A knock on my door caused me to jump before Hank slowly walked in holding a small vile of some sort.

"I've actually been working on something for myself to help me relax. It helps me focus but for you, it might make you sleepy since you haven't been getting any."

"Sleep is exactly what I need." I spoke reaching my hand out to the vile as he handed it to me.

"Just drink it right before you go to bed and you should sleep really well." He nodded before walking over to my door.

"Oh and try not to taste it so much. I haven't quite mastered the flavor yet." He half joked making me cringe and smile at the same time. "Thanks for the heads up." I laughed before he fully walked out of my room, closing the door behind him.

9:17 P.M. Good enough for me. I changed into an oversized shirt before downing the god awful blue liquid and plopping down onto my back.

I felt like I was laying there for an hour but in reality it was only 10 minutes. I was beginning to feel tired but overall I felt loopy. Hank could've warned me about that too.

I rolled onto my stomach and stared at the clock as it changed from 9:27 to 9:28, immediately getting bored of laying in my own bed. I pushed myself up off my bed followed by almost falling over from the loopiness and making my way down the hall.

Stumbling onto a familiar door I turned the handle and walked in, "Alex." I half whispered poking his cheek as he slept comfortably. I of course had to ruin his sleep being the lovely person that I am.

"Alex." I whispered louder which at this point was just my normal voice. His eyed fluttered open to focus on me as he glanced down to see what I was wearing. His eyes grew wide before sitting straighter on his bed.

"What are you doing Thea?" He glanced over my body again.

"I couldn't fall asleep and Hank gave me this weird sirum to help me sleep but it's just not working. In fact it's just making me more and more and more loopy." I said ending my sentence with laughter. He lightly chuckled at my behavior before trying to pull me down on his bed to fall asleep.

"Come on. We all need to sleep."

"No. I don't want to. I want you." I mumbled half laughing still but as his face turned from a smile to serious, my smile dropped too.

He shook his head like shaking a thought away, "No Thea. You need to go to sleep okay?" He said trying to pull me down again but failed.

I got serious really quick, "No. I'm fine. I just- I just want you. Okay?" I half mocked him in the most serious tone I could manage.

"Thea. You're not thinking straight."

"Oh no. I'm thinking really straight. Now shut up and just agree with me." I ordered as I crawled onto his lap, leaning in to kiss him.

"Thea." He whispered as his hands wrapped onto my waist.

"Shh." I whispered before hungrily attacking his lips and leaning us back onto the bed.

The kissing began to get more heated as he rolled us over, making him top again. He propped himself up with one hand by my head and the other holding onto my waist. He tightened his grip, scared that I was going to push him away but that's the exact opposite of what I wanted to do.

I pulled his shirt down making the space between us smaller as his hand began to push my shirt up off of around my thighs, exposing my underwear.

His lips left mine as he left wet marks going down my neck and to my stomach. Our breathing got heavier and heavier as the time went by and I think we both didn't care if anyone heard us at this point.

"Alex." I mumbled letting out a breath of air.

"Mhm?" He hummed back.

"Don't stop." I breathed again letting the slightest of a laugh escape my lips. He did the same before kissing my thighs.

"Never." He smirked.

"..."
