The Healer and Destroyer: PART 1 [Alex Summers/ Havok]

4. "What were you two doing?"

We all sat outside of the destroyed building waiting for Charles and Erik's return which took all night into morning. I sat next to Alex who made multiple attempts to calm himself from what just happened but the death of our short lived friend couldn't leave any of our minds.

I reached over to him resting my hand on his shoulder making him look over and give me a sincere smile. It wasn't a big smile but it was the most emotion I've seen from him in the few hours I've known him.

"Raven." We heard a voice call out followed by Charles running in our direction, latching onto his best friend. He looked her in the eyes before turning to us, "We've made arrangements for you to be taken home immediately."

"We're not going home?" Sean spoke.

"What?"

"He's not going back to prison." Sean spoke towards Alex who joined in, "He killed Darwin."

"All the more reason for you to leave." Charles spoke.

"Sorry but no, you saw the life I was living. I'm not going back either." I spoke up making Charles look my way. He sighed.

"This is over."

"Darwin's dead Charles and we can't even bury him." Raven added from beside him.

Alex and Sean looked down at their feet as I rested my head on Alex's shoulder. He didn't seem to mind since he didn't flinch or budge.

"We can avenge him." Erik spoke out of no where. We all looked in his direction amused by what he was suggesting.

Charles although didn't, demanding Erik to step aside and have a word with him. We all watched them wondering what our next move was going to be which was then answered by Charles turning to us.

"We'll have to train. All of us. Yes?" He asked making us all nod.

"Yeah." Alex agreed immediately.

"Well we can't stay here." I spoke remembering the destruction behind us.

"Even if they reopen the department, it's still not safe. We've got no where to go." Hank continued as Charles gave him a reassuring look.

"Yes we do." Charles nodded.

A long car ride later we arrive at a marvelous mansion which belonged to Charles. Doesn't surprise me though, British people are quite wealthy and this happens to prove my point.

"This is yours?" Sean asked as we all stared up at the building.

"No. It's ours." Charles spoke although he didn't seem quite sure as to what this could turn into but he still continued to give Sean a reassuring smile.

"Might as well do it in style." I smirked before walking up towards the house. No one followed, they were still staring up at the structure but as for me, I wanted to see what was inside.

"Honestly Charles, I don't know how you survived living in such hardship." I heard Erik mutter, "Well it was hardship softened by me." Raven spoke as she approached Charles.

"Come on time for the tour." Raven continued making me turn around in my tracks. Hands in my back pockets I waited for the rest of the group to catch up.

"I do have to say, I will never get old of this." I smiled a ridiculous smile making them smile back at me, even a small smile from Alex who kept his eyes glued to mine.

"What?" I questioned as he approached me. I smiled in curiosity.

"Nothing." He smirked but shook his head and continued walking with everyone else.

"Oh really. So you just stare at people for long amounts of time?" I joked walking a little faster to catch up with the rest of the group. I turned around, making a full 360 only to see him picking up his pace.

I started laughing before turning back around running inside where the others already were but they managed to fully disappear somewhere inside already starting on the tour without us.

I stopped inside the doorway waiting for Alex, "Looks like we're by ourselves on this tour." I joked.

"Fine with me."

"Alright." I hummed before turning on my heels and heading into some odd direction not knowing exactly where I'm going. As I led Alex and I through the house I felt his eyes on me the entire time, "You know its not polite to stare." I joked.

"I'm not staring." He hummed back making me quickly turn around only resulting in him bumping into me. His hands reached out grabbing onto my shoulders then sliding down to the sides of my arms.

I stared up at him then his lips, "Then what were you doing?"

He smiled looking me in the eyes then down to my lips too. "Admiring." He whispered making goosebumps form on my skin from how close we were. My hands made their way to rest against his chest, his now on my waist.

A smile formed on our faces as we got closer and closer but we were soon interrupted by Raven yelling from somewhere in the mansion.

"Thea!" She yelled. I laughed, looking down at my hands on his chest.

"Alex?" She yelled again.

"Yeah" Alex yelled back not looking away from my eyes.

"I guess we're needed." I joked.

"You're going to wanna see this." She yelled again but only it was louder like she was getting closer to us.

I laughed sinking my head into his chest, feeling his chest move from laughing too. I let go of him beginning to walk past him when Raven appeared from around the corner.

"What were you two doing?" She asked suspiciously staring us down.

"Nothing." We said in sync making a smile form on my face and a smirk on hers. She nodded her head knowing we were lying, "Yeah okay." She laughed, "Well you should probably hurry up. They're pushing Sean out a window." She spoke before leaving us in the hallway again.

We must've been gone long enough in order for them to already have ideas of pushing Sean out of windows.

I laughed bringing my hand up to my hair and brushing through it softly as we walked down the hallway me in front again letting him admire whatever he was before.

I smiled as a hand made its way into mine and lips were placed on the side of my head. I smiled even more as we walked side by side to what Raven insists on us seeing.

the scene where they show the mansion makes me so happy and angry!!! happy because its so cool and that means shits about to go down then angry because I WANT TO LIVE IN THE MANSION HOLY SHIT !!!
