Words were exchanged of how Shaw can't we located and how he's still down there yet there was nothing on the radar. "Well he must be underwater and obviously we don't have sonar." Hank grumbled looking straight out the window.
"Yes we do." Sean spoke up gaining sudden confidence and bravery. I smiled at him as he unbuckled himself from the seat.
"Yes we do." Charles spoke quickly followed by him unbuckling his seatbelt and standing up. He glanced at Sean then me, giving me a little head nod signaling I was needed for something. I surprisingly didn't hesitate to unbuckle and stand up following them to the back of the plane. Erik also stood up to draw out Shaw in the water.
We all stumbled to the back as Charles yelled, "Hank. Level the bloody plane."
"Woah you back right off." Sean pointed at Erik who put his hands up in defense. We don't need anyone pushing each other off of something again.
Erik smirked taking a couple steps back as Charles grabbed onto Sean.
"Beast open the bomb bay doors." Sean yelled which followed with a metal clang and the hatch beginning to open which I was still standing on. I quickly reached up towards Erik who also quickly reached out and grabbed onto my arm pulling me back onto the plane.
"Jesus Sean. Trying to kill me?" I hissed making him shrug. "Sorry."
I shared a look with Erik who shook his head before looking over at Alex who had a worried look on his face. This time it was my turn to give the reassuring smile which he gladly received and returned although he still looked worried.
"Remember. This is a muscle." Charles yelled as he grabbed onto Sean's throat. Sean looked up at me smirking which I returned before looking down to the water that was moving quickly below us.
"You control it. You'll be in here the entire time. The both of you." Charles spoke, directing the last of it to both me and Sean. Charles gave me a look as he explained what my job was, I nodded at him before focusing my attention back onto the water underneath us.
I nodded again before looking at Sean who looked at me.
"We'll see you soon. On my mark! 3! 2! 1! GO!" Charles yelled.
Sean stepped off the edge of the plane plummeting to the water. I stepped onto the opposite side where Erik was standing before glancing at him. He looked determined, angry, yet confused all at the same time.
Charles spoke with his fingers on his temple, "Banshee's got a location on Shaw."
This made Erik stand straighter, "You ready for this?" Charles asked him before turning to me asking the same, "You ready?"
Erik and I looked at each other then back at Charles, "Let's find out."
"I guess." I said at the same time as Erik except my response was more hopeful. I shot my head up to him. "You're supposed to be more confident than I am what the hell?" I mumbled to myself, staring at the planes wheel with wide eyes.
"I'm not ready now." I mumbled again but Charles grabbed onto my shoulder. "You got this."
Erik slid down the wheel and hung at the bottom of it reaching his hand out to the water.
"Remember. Focus on anything you can to prevent you from breaking. You have to heal while you use your mutation. Do not break." Charles told me so no one else could hear. It has become difficult for me to heal while using my forcefields but I have to do this regardless.
I extended my hands with Erik. He began to struggle but seconds later he calmed once the submarine reached the surface. I held onto it through the air making me shake too, I could feel the muscles and bones in my body tearing and crumbling. It was getting harder to hold, I could see Erik was struggling too.
