"How do we not have any food in this damn house." I mumbled to myself.

"Because we live with five guys." Raven laughed from the table to my right. I jumped from her sudden voice before closing the fridge door.

"You are so sneaky." I joked making her laugh again.

"Sorry." She whispered before sitting down at the table.

"There's seriously nothing to eat." I groaned again.

"Have an apple." She suggested, I stared at the apples in the bowl.

"I've had apples for the past two days straight." I joked before grabbing one anyway and cutting it into slices before joining Raven at the table.

"What's on your mind?" I questioned giving her a genuine smile as she glanced up at me.

"Can you please be honest with me? You're the most honest person I know so I trust you okay?" She questioned. I nodded in return.

"What did you think of my mutation when you first met me?"

I stared at her taking a moment to gather my thoughts but I knew exactly what my answer was, "I was completely and utterly amazed. Your gift," I emphasized. "It's truly incredible, something that shouldn't be hidden, for all we know there are more of us out there who may not be able to hide something so great as easily as you can." I started.

"You may want people to accept you for how you look before this." I gestured to her blond locks and pale skin, "But you already have people accepting you for you and we're right in front of you but instead you think of everyone else." I spoke as she pondered at what I was saying to her.

"Everyone else, they don't even know the real you, the real Raven. Why are you trying to hide that?" I said standing up with the apple I cut up a minute before.

"You're beautiful no matter what and you don't even know it." I smiled walking over to her and giving her a small pat on the shoulder before leaving the room.

I passed Charles on the way out, he seemed to be in a good mood making me smile.

"Althea." He spoke passing me.

"Professor." I smiled jokingly in return, all of us still getting used to the new name before running up the stairs towards my room.

I rounded the corner completely running into a hard body also resulting me in dropping a couple slices of my apple. "That's sad." I mumbled but laughed before looking up at him.

"I'm sorry." He smiled before bending down and grabbing the slices that fell.

"You're fine. I mean, uh." I laughed shaking my head. "It's fine."

I looked up at Alex who was staring back at me with a smile, "I'm fine?"

I shook my head looking at my feet, "Oh my god." I laughed quickly walking to my room, him following closely behind.

"No no, I want to know more about what you think of me?"

I plopped onto my bed, facing the ceiling as he sat next to me leaning against the headboard. I placed the rest of my apple next to me. "You want to know what I think about you?" I paused, a smirk forming on both of our faces before a mhm was heard.

"I think... you're extremely... annoying and obnoxious and... funny looking and sometimes you smell weird." I smiled, turning my head to face him, he stared back trying to act hurt.

"Oh really?"

"Yeah but that's only a few things that I think about you." I whispered, turning onto my stomach now next to him more.
