Season 1: Family Ties
"Good morning, Jenna!" Rosalie greets happily, entering the kitchen. Jenna Sommers leans on the island of the Gilbert kitchen, glaring at the T.V at some newsman explaining Mr.Tanner's death.
Rosalie got up this morning around eight to be all wrapped up in Stefan's arms and Matt's blanket. She thought she would die of heart attack. Stefan left after he woke up and Rosalie immediately came to the Gilbert house and crawled into bed with Jeremy, which he protest sleepily, but eventually just let her be. It's Rosalie he was thinking about. Despite him getting beat up, she saw something more horrific. She seem to be doing better than last night. She's trying to ignore the images.
"Morning, Rosie. What time did you get here?" She asks.
"Around seven-ish?" Her voice raises into a question. Jenna laughs and sips her coffee. Jenna turns her attention back on the t.v.
"Scum bucket" She snarls. Rosalie laughs.
"Who are you talking to?" Rosalie inquires.
"Him. Also known as Logan 'Scum' Fell. Did I ever tell you why I left?" Rosalie's mouth hangs down in shock.
Rosalie and Jenna have always gotten along. Jenna absolutely adores her. She's like a daughter to her. Jenna use to egg Jeremy to ask Rosalie out but finally gave up on the idea. She knew Jeremy and Rosalie's friendship would never proceed to anything beyond friendship.
"Huh. You could of done a little better, Jenna" Rosalie winks teasingly. Jenna scoffs and takes another sip of her coffee.
Elena walks into the dining room with large cardboard brown box and sets it on the floor beside her. She took out of a couple of things and started to examine them. Jenna shuts the t.v off and left her spot to go talk to Elena. Rosalie stood behind Jenna.
"What are you doing with that?" Jenna questions.
"I went yesterday and got it from the safe deposit box. Mom had told Mrs. Lockwood she would loan it to the founder's council for their heritage display" Elena explains. She starts to polish a golden watch.
"Is that Grandma Beth's wedding ring?" Jenna picks up a fragile ring.
"Originally it was great great Grandma Mary's wedding ring" Elena grins.
"How much do you think this stuff is worth? You know, like on eBay?" Jeremy teases, entering the dining room. Rosalie laughs. He takes the watch out of his sister's hands. Jeremy admires the golden watch nostalgically. Elena snatches it out of his hands.
"You're not gonna find out" Jeremy's eyebrows knit together.
"That stuff is mom's and dad's. You can't just give it away" Jeremy raises his voice. He turns to go to the fridge.
"I'm not giving it away," Elena sighs. "It's called a loan, Jeremy"
The doorbell rings, interrupting Elena's one-sided argument. "I got it--" Rosalie offers.
"No! It's fine, uh, I got it" Rosalie and Jenna share a look. Elena slowly gets up from the table and goes over to the front door.
Elena opens the door and it reveals the one and only, Stefan Salvatore. Stefan's eyes didn't go on Elena's, it went passed her and to Rosalie. Elena follows his stare and rolls her eyes, a glare setting on Rosalie. Elena had spotted him through the window and hoped it was for her.
