Season 2: Know Thy Enemy
Rosalie sits on Stefan's lap on the brown leather chair. Damon's sprawled out on the couch and Elena sits across from the couple. Rosalie softly plays with Stefan's hair as he rubs his thumb on her exposed thigh.
"Do you really think that Isobel's telling the truth that word's gotten out about the doppelganger?" Rosalie bites her lip and nods.
"There's no way it hasn't by now" Elena frowns.
"We're in the same boat. Isobel told me that there's word going around that a Phoenix exist again" Stefan pecks Rosalie's shoulder in comfort.
"Look, I don't trust a word that she says, but I think we'd be stupid to ignore the warning" Damon eyes Rosalie.
"You know what? You two should just stay here. It's better for us to keep an eye on you" Elena scoffs.
"And listen to those two have sex? Sounds inviting" Rosalie's face warms up and Stefan laughs. Elena smirks.
"Damon, any vampire can enter this house. This is the most dangerous place you can be in. Rosalie's house is the safest" Damon nods.
"So we'll stay there" Rosalie smiles. She liked the idea of them spending the night. A nice slumber party.
"So is that the plan? Neither of you will let us out of your sight again?" Damon glares.
"Let me know when you come up with a better one" Elena sighs.
"Well Damon, you're coming with me to the Lockwood Luncheon. Stefan, obviously, Rosalie" Rosalie smiles.
"No way. I have witch stuff to attend to with Bonnie" Rosalie frowns.
"Let me come with" Damon chuckles.
"No way in hell are you going" Rosalie smiles.
"If you don't let me go then I'll just follow you" Damon gives a pointed look at Stefan. Stefan shakes his head.
"She's with you and Bonnie" Stefan points out.
"Does that mean you're taking them to the--" Damon shushes Elena.
"Don't get quiet on my account" Katherine enters the room. She frowns at Rosalie and Stefan. "If you have a plan to combat the impending vampire doom, please do tell" Katherine smirks. Katherine frowns when no one responds. "Seriously, what is the plan to get us out of this mess, hmm? Rosalie, I know you want to tell me" Rosalie shakes her head.
"Sorry, Katherine. You'll have to ask Elena, she's in charge" Stefan and Damon choke on a laugh. Elena glares at Rosalie. Katherine scoffs.
"I delivered you a moonstone, a werewolf, and the dagger to lure and kill Klaus, and right now all you have is a moonstone, or so you tell me" Rosalie looks at Damon.
"No, we have it"
"Where is it?" Katherine plays.
"It's in a very safe place" Damon smirks.
"I've been honest with you. Time to return the favor" Rosalie gets up from Stefan's lap and walks over to Damon, hugging his shoulder from behind. Stefan frowns a little, but lightens up. She's just a affectionate person. It means nothing but friendship to her.
"Let me be honest with you. Don't mistake the fact that we haven't set you on fire in your sleep for trust" Katherine crosses her arms.
"Fine. Be that way" Katherine leaves the room.
