Season 3: Before Sunset

Rosalie stretches her arm with paint roller towards the ceiling in Alaric's room in the Gilbert house. Jeremy on the other wall beside her and on the opposite wall is Elena. Stefan leans against the door frame, watching Rosalie try her hardest to get the ceiling.

"Going darker huh?" Rosalie looks over her shoulder and grins at Stefan.

"It's the only color we had"

"That's what happens when you decide to paint your dead guardian's room in the middle of the night" Jeremy grumbles.

"I don't suppose anyone tried to talk you guys out of doing this...so soon" Rosalie shrugs, placing the roller in the pan.

"We have to keep moving. Otherwise we'll start thinking and we don't want to think" Elena answers.

"Mind lending a hand?" Rosalie asks. Stefan chuckles.

"I'm not sure, what do I get out of it?" Jeremy looks in between them.

"So are you two, like, back together or something?" Rosalie bites her lip.

"Should I answer that or you?" She looks over at Jeremy. He took the hint.

"Well, if you're trying to be the good guy again, why don't you do the right thing and give us one day. Just one day without any vampires in it" Rosalie frowns.

"Jeremy!" She hisses. Elena glances in between the two and guides Jeremy out of the room.

"He didn't mean that, he's just sensitive right now" Stefan chuckles.

"Yeah, he really did" Rosalie smiles softly. He caresses her face. "How are you doing?" Rosalie places her hand over his.

"Way better, crying all night helped me, and so did you, thank you, Stefan, really" Stefan leans down and presses his lip against hers.

The doorbell interrupts them. Stefan pulls away and smiles. "I'll go answer it"

"Okay"

Stefan exits the bedroom and goes down the hall, jogging down the stairs. He whips the door open to see his brother with a bloody Bonnie Bennett who's still in the same outfit of last night.

"We have a problem" Damon growls.

"What do you mean he turned!?" Stefan growls. "I thought you were standing guard!" Stefan shoves his brother. Damon hands Bonnie a damp kitchen rag to clean up her neck and chest.

"Don't blame me! Blame Bonnie the Blood Bank. She fed him" Bonnie gulps.

"I had no idea what was happening. Okay, the witches led me there, they wanted him to feed so he'd turn" Bonnie tries to defend herself.

"Where's the stake now?" Stefan lowers his voice.

"Oh, you mean the white oak one? The one that can kill an original and wipe out an entire line of vampires? We don't know" Damon narrows his eyes.

"If you are so upset with me, why did you feed me your blood to save my life?" Damon scoffs.

"You think anyone would forgive me if I let you die? I do stupids things. I should've just killed him" Damon huffs.

"Alright, so how do we kill him?" Stefan shifts the conversation.

"I've been trying to figure that out. A witch can't truly make an immortal creature, there's always a way to undo a spell" Damon leans on the chair of the dining table.
