Season 3: The Reckoning
Tyler slaps Rosalie's hand away from the mouse trap as the trap snaps back. The light turns on, showing the confused Matt Donovan. Caroline grunts, popping off the ground. Tyler chuckles. Rosalie smiles and giggles. She peeks over the desk at Matt.
"Ah, come one! Seriously?" Caroline shouts. "Do you know how long this took for us to set all this up?" Caroline rants. Tyler stands up, tucking his hands in his pockets.
"Forgot about Senior prank night, huh?" Tyler smirks.
"Clearly" He smiles.
"How could you forget? We've only been waiting for this since, like, freshman year!" Caroline boasts. Elena licks her lips.
"Yeah, Matt. If I'm doing this, you're doing this" Matt blinks at Elena.
"I'm kind've surprised any of you are doing this" Bonnie frowns.
"Caroline's making us" Rosalie giggles and sits on her butt. Tyler ruffles her hair. Caroline throws her hands up in the air.
"We're about to be seniors. These are the memories that stay with us forever, and if we don't--"
"And if we don't create these memories now, then what's the point of it all?" Elena finishes. Caroline groans.
"I swear the only one besides me that's excited for this is Rosalie!" Rosalie nods.
"I have a nice surprise for Alaric when he checks in his drawers" Rosalie mischievously smiles.
"You're all lame. And I've got ten more classrooms to prank" Tyler grabs a duffel bag and scurries out of the classroom. Rosalie pops off the floor and heads toward the door.
"Hey! Where are you going?" Rosalie giggles.
"Bathroom. A girl can't hold her pee forever, ya'know!" Rosalie jogs out of the room.
Tyler hands one of her classmates a can of whip cream, directing them on what to do. Rosalie smacks his butt when she passes him.
"Woo! That's inappropriate!" Tyler grins. Rosalie giggles and skips down the hallway, pushing the large double blue doors open. She turns right and gasps.
Klaus is standing there waiting unexpectedly. Rosalie's eyes widen. "There's Juliet"
"Klaus" She breathes. Rosalie stumbles backwards. She spins on her toes and goes to run, but Klaus is already back in front of her.
"Care to explain why Elena's still alive?" Klaus clutches her forearm harshly. Rosalie winces.
"I don't have anything to say" Klaus yanks her to his chest, tucking his pointer finger under her chin. She gazes at him nervously.
"Oh, you're going to have lots to say" Rosalie gulps.
He takes the lead and begins walking towards the gym. Rosalie struggles to keep up with him. Klaus makes it down the first hall before saying anything.
"Elena put a rather large kink in my plans. The whole point of breaking the curse and becoming a hybrid was to make more hybrids"
"I know that" Rosalie whimpers.
"Then you shouldn't have tried to help prevent her death. I considered leaving you alive. Plans have changed" Klaus growls.
"Why wouldn't I protect my friend? You'd do the same for your family" Klaus stops and looks her down.
