Chapter Nineteen

Season 1: Miss Mystic Falls

Stefan speeds into the school parking lot in his shiny red vintage car. Students point and whisper to each other, wondering who is in this strange speeding car. Stefan rears to stop and parks his car. giggles, slowly making her way to her handsome vampire boyfriend, clutching her french book to her chest. Stefan steps out of his car and takes his glasses off, revealing his vibrant green eyes.

"Hey Racer" Stefan cups Rosalie's face and kisses her sweetly. Rosalie's taken back by the sudden move, but she eases into it. She grins into the kiss. Stefan pulls back and pecks her forehead. "I didn't know you were coming today. I'm glad you're here" Stefan licks his lips.

"You know, I woke up this morning, and I was feeling great, and I figured it was time for to get back into things" Rosalie smiles ear to ear.

"Does this mean you're okay now?"

"Yes, the worst part is over. My reward is spending as much time as I want with you" Rosalie giggles and stares at Stefan lovingly.

"Wanna know how you can start?" Stefan leans against the car. "Be my dance partner for Miss Mystic" Stefan takes Rosalie's hand and kisses it.

"I'd be honored" Rosalie hears the bell.

"I'll see you later in class," Rosalie pecks Stefan on the cheek. "Love you!" Rosalie jogs off.

Stefan smiles at his girlfriend. She looked like a baby bumblebee in that shirt. Stefan runs his fingers through his hair and moves to the trunk of his car. He pops it open, revealing some clothing, his bag and over ten empty blood bags. Stefan stares at them hungrily. He grabs his bag out of the trunk and slams the top down, walking towards the school.

"This week we're going to set aside our regular curriculum for a lesson in local history as we approach Founder's Day," Rosalie smiles at her boyfriend who just sat down in his desk. "Apparently the community leaders feel that's more important than World War Two, but hey what do I know?" Alaric grimly speaks.

The door to the classroom creaks open and in comes an anxious Bonnie Bennett. "Sorry, I'm late" Bonnie breathes. Alaric gestures to her seat and she nods. Bonnie closes the door and speed walks to her desk. Elena smiles hopefully at her best friend, but didn't get even a glance. No one did.

"Looks like we will be at full occupancy today. Welcome home, Bonnie. Right, Founder's Day! What does it mean to have a Founder's Day? Well, if you'll turn your attention to this exquisite diorama over here that I spent all night..."

Rosalie stares pitifully at Bonnie. She felt that it's her fault Bonnie's grandma passed away. If she hadn't suggest letting Damon get his way, this wouldn't have ever happen. It doesn't feel right anymore. She didn't want to lose her friendship with Bonnie too. She's already lost Elena, and Caroline's friendship. What was she doing wrong?

"Hey, Bonnie" Rosalie jogs up to Bonnie. Bonnie picks up her speed.

"Hey"

"Sorry, I tried to talk to you after class but you left so quick that I didn't know where you went. Um, how are you? How's your family? I'm sorry about everything, Bonnie" Bonnie's heart throbbed at how guilty Rosalie felt.

"We're dealing, it's been hard. Honestly after Elena had called me and told me the tombstone spell failed, I didn't want to come back"

"Bonnie, I'm sorry. This is--"
