Season 1: A Few Good Men
"Miss Donovan?" questions when she closes her car door. Kelly pauses and looks over her shoulder at Rosalie who's walking around her car and to the steps leading to the door, where Kelly is standing. Kelly grins ear to ear.
"Rosalie, my favorite baby in the world!" Kelly wraps her arms around Rosalie's shoulders briefly. Kelly smells a little like beer when she pulls away. "Come on in, I'm surprising Matt" Rosalie smiles.
The two of them enter the house silently. Kelly guides Rosalie to the living room, but stops in her tracks at the sight of Matt on top of Caroline, both shirtless. Caroline still has her bra on thankfully. Rosalie peeks around Kelly and swallows a laugh, her face turning red. Kelly slouches.
"Oh, god. Not on my couch" Kelly sighs distastefully. Kelly leans against the door frame.
"Mom! Rosalie?" Matt gives a cheeky smile. He grabs the nearest pillow and covers Caroline's chest as she uses her hands to hide her face. Rosalie spits out a laugh and Matt joins her. Kelly smirks smugly and Caroline groans.
"Put on a shirt you two" Kelly orders. Matt snatches his shirt from off the floor and Caroline reaches up for her blouse, pulling it over her head and turning to his mom and Rosalie.
"H--Hi?" Her voice cracks.
Rosalie decides to leave the awkward atmosphere and into the kitchen, going into the fridge for a water bottle. Caroline gathers her things and leaves his house, too embarrassed to even say goodbye. Matt follows after his mom into the kitchen.
"So where have you been? It's been a couple months" Matt comments. Rosalie wraps her arms around Matt's waist, leaning her head on his chest.
"Ah, you know, here and there. Never one place too long. You know Pete" His mom admires something on the wall; distracting herself from the potentially mad football jock.
"No, actually, I don't because you've never brought him around" Kelly faces the best friends.
"So blonde's the new flavor of the month, huh? So sorry I scared her off. At least Rosalie stuck around" Kelly has always wanted them together. Little does she know that they both are in separate relationships.
"She's not a flavor, mom. I like her" Matt grumbles.
"And I like Rosalie. Blondie's not going to be the one" Kelly points out. Rosalie looks up at Matt.
"No, probably not, but maybe" Matt ignores the part about Rosalie. Kelly goes into the fridge and takes a wine bottle out of it.
"Matt, seriously, Lezzie Forbes daughter? Ucch. I prefer Phoenix" Kelly winks. Rosalie releases Matt and looks down at the floor.
"Mom, seriously? Knock it off. Rosalie and I aren't together"
"Miss Donovan, I have a boyfriend. Stefan Salvatore" She decides to shut down any more pushes. Rosalie licks her lips. "Actually, I should get going. I have to help Elena's aunt with the fundraiser. I'll see you guys soon" Rosalie leaves the tense kitchen and goes straight out the door to her car. She hated when people asked about Matt and Rosalie or her and Jeremy. A boy and girl can just be friends.

Rosalie enters the grill; eyeing the place for someone she knows. At the bar, she sees Damon drinking himself stupid. She sighs and walks over to him, sitting beside him. It brought back memories from Georgia.
