Season 2: The Return
"Thank you" pants. The receptionist smiles sympathetically at the brunette.
Rosalie had rushed to the hospital after she took a shower when Matt had called her in a panic after the car crash. Caroline's in the worst condition out of the three. Tyler apparently heard the ringing noise too and that's what caused the crash. Bonnie rubs Matt's shoulder when Rosalie pops around the corner. Matt stands up and jogs over to her. Rosalie wraps Matt in a tight hug, petting his head.
"It'll be okay, Mattiw. She'll make it" Matt clutches Rosalie's body to him, enveloping her to his body. Bonnie looks guiltily at the ground. She nearly got Rosalie killed tonight. She's a horrible friend. Not only did she put Rosalie's life in danger, she put Matt's, Caroline's and Tyler's life at risk for not un-spelling the invention.
"Liz," Damon walks over to the Sheriff. "I came as soon as I got the message. Is she okay?" Damon acts worrisome.
"She's in surgery. Its... They are doing everything they can," Damon nods. Liz stares seriously at Damon. "I need your help, Damon"
"Sure! Anything, Liz" Damon guides Liz to a more private area of the hospital.
' "Mayor Lockwood is dead. They thought he was a vampire and they put him in the basement. I--I saw them grab Rosalie. Rosalie's not a vampire, is she? I--It's not possible. She's too sweet and caring--"
"I can guarantee to you, Rosalie is not vampire. She was never in the building. But, I can't say the same for Mayor Lockwood, do you think he's a vampire?" Damon tries to change the subject. Liz looks at him skeptically.
"No, it had to be a mistake! They said he dropped like the others when John's device went off, but he...he couldn't have be a vampire. I've known the man my whole life and now Carol Lockwood is going to want answers, and all I can think about right now is Caroline, and--and, um..." Liz cries.
"It's okay, sh, it's okay" Damon pulls Liz in for a hug.

Rosalie stares blankly at the wall, running her fingers through Matt's hair comfortingly. Matt rests his head on her shoulder, closing his eyes for a quick nap. Rosalie replays tonight's events in her head. Everything was going okay, except for a couple of moments with Jeremy and nearly got killed because of John Gilbert.
Then, Damon kissed her. She had to tell Stefan. He deserved to know that his doubts about Damon's friendship with her were true. Bonnie walks over to Rosalie and kneels in front of her.
"They don't know if she's going to make it" Bonnie frowns. Rosalie opens her mouth in shock.
"W--What? Bonnie, please tell me you know a spell or something-- We just can't let her die--"
"She doesn't know one" Damon walks around the corner. Damon stares longingly at Rosalie.
"No, I don't" Bonnie holds her head up high.
"Yes, because it took Emily years to learn them. Now, Rosalie. I can give Caroline some blood"
"No way" Bonnie denies.
"It's just enough to heal her. She will be safe in the hospital it'll be out of her system a day, two days tops" Rosalie takes Bonnie's hand.
"She'll get better, Bonnie. It'll be okay" Rosalie leans Matt up against the wall so she can stand up.
Bonnie shakes her head and walks away. Rosalie sighs and runs her fingers through her hair. Damon moves closer to Rosalie.
