Hello everyone! Long time no see! I just came by to say thank you so much for reading this story, it warms my heart knowing so many people really liked it, it was my first fanfiction to be successful (in my eyes) and I'm really proud of it! I'm sorry for not responding to comments at all, to be honest I stopped using Wattpad right after I uploaded this story, so please don't think I'm ignoring your comments at all, I just haven't been on this website in a very long time.
That being said, I apologize for not giving Wattpad all the chapters I wrote and didn't post all of them! I thought I had posted all the chapters I'd written on another platform called Quotev, onto here. I haven't updated this story since chapter 85, and it's been over a year since I've updated on both platforms all together.
I apologize again since I am bringing some disappointing, but not surprising news. This story is on hold/discontinued. It's been on hold for a year and I've only looked at this story a couple of times after putting it on hold, I've edited this story multiple times and just have fallen out of love with the character Rosalie Phoenix.
This story used to give me so much joy and I used to be so excited to come back and write the next chapter but it's become lackluster for me and I've grown a lot as a writer so when I go back and read this story, I can't help but cringe. It's very cliche (which I still love with all my heart) but I think I approach it differently nowadays. I think I rushed into the action and romance scenes too soon and it feels very hurried and not thought through thoroughly. All over, I think this story would basically need to be remade for me to love it again and with 85 chapters, it'll take a long time to go through and do it and I feel like it wouldn't be true to original plot I created, it would be a whole new story. I hope that makes sense.
Again, sorry for not updating everyone sooner, I should've done it as soon as my mind was made up, but I truly thought I was going to come back and finish the story like I had intended to. I feel very lucky that so many people liked it and stuck with it. Thank you so much, it means the world to me.
But...I do have some good news among all the bad. I've decided to upload my other TVD fanfiction onto here! I know, you must be thinking, "You literally just said you were ending this story and not finishing it and now you're promoting a new one? Really?". To defend myself, I actually wrote this story a year after I started Rose Petals (April 15th, 2017) so it's actually been out for awhile (been out since April 1st, 2018)
It's called Sweet Vanilla, and it's about young lady named Isabella Romulus. She's very shy and sweet, absolutely adorable. Many of my readers adore Isabella and the story on Quotev and I feel like Wattpad also deserves to have this story too! I don't want to leave you guys with nothing so I hope this might be a good to patch up any broken hearts.
I will admit though, I think the first couple of chapters aren't my favorite and haven't updated since I put out the story really, but as the chapters go by, I think my writing gets better (I HOPE).
