I know y'all probably try'na figure out who I am. My name is Chanel. You know like the fashion designer. Well now y'all probably try'na figure out why I'm talking to y'all. Well that's because y'all gonna follow me on this journey. Ya see the last time I physically saw my mom was when I was nine, now I'm fourteen. Yeah it's been a minute.
Now she writes me letters and sends me crap but I don't care about it at all. Well hold up, I do wear the sneakers she sends, but that's it. Everything else is stacked up in a corner in my room. My mom left me with my aunt in Maryland while she lives the life. Now I don't understand why she really doesn't claim me but she claims the baby she just had with her husband. She is just so selfish.
Well you know what? Me and my manz are gonna take a little trip. Its Memorial Day weekend so I'm headed up to New York. I got her address from the letters she sends me so that's where I'm going. Damien, my best friend, told his grandmother he was spending the weekend with a friend and I told my aunt I was spending it with a friend so we were set.
My mom sends me money too so the tickets are taken care of. My mom she seriously has a problem and I'm seriously about to solve it. Oh yeah, if you haven't figured it out yet my mom is Beyoncé Knowles or Carter or whatever she's going by.
