Chapter 56

Beyoncé's POV

I was on the couch watching a movie. I didn't feel like finding out the title but it was holding my attention. I heard some feet moving and I know someone is about to bother me. I looked and Damien was sitting on the couch. The hell? That little ninja. I looked at him and he was looking at the screen. I looked back at the screen but I know he wants something. I kept looking at him.

"Okay D, what you want?" I asked.

"What? I don't want anything." He said.

"Really?" I asked.

"Yeah." He said but I kept looking at him.

I turned away from him and got back into my movie. Eventually he came over and sat by me. I wrapped him in my arms out of habit and this movie was getting good.

"Mommy." I heard.

Dammit, I knew he wanted something.

"Yes Damien." I said.

"My birthday is coming." He said.

"Yes, I know." I said still watching the movie.

Is that the twilight girl?

"I was thinking." He said.

"Uh huh?" I said.

Yep, that's her.

"Can I get a spyder?" He asked.

"Why do you want a bug? And no." I said.

"No its like a four-wheeler type thing." He said.

"Hell no, you better get back to the drawing board." I said.

"But ma, I'll be careful." He said.

"Damien, where the hell you gonna ride it?" I asked.

"Uhm, the street?" He said.

"You have lost your mind." I said as I sat back.

Can he just let me watch my movie.

"Mommy." He said whining.

"Damien." I said as I grabbed the remote. I pressed the button. "This goes off in 30 minutes. Come back and talk to me."

"Okay." He said and left.

Oh, I was watching Snow White, okay.

30 minutes passed and Damien sure was back.

"I'm not telling you what I'm getting you." I said. 

"Fine but what are we doing tomorrow?" He asked.

"Church, dinner." I said.

"Easter basket?" He said.

"For Blue and Jeulz." I said.

"How come I don't get one?" He asked.

"Your about to be fifteen years old." I said.

"Okay, how about just some candy?" He asked.

"So you can be jumping up and down from my walls?" I said. "I don't think so and I know you been in Chanel's basket eating all that junk. Mess around you gonna have another cavity."

"Ugh, so I get no fun?" He said.

"Until I get that your improving in science from your tutor, sadly no." I said.

He sighed and left me alone until my other child came walking in.

"Hi mommy." She said as she sat beside me.
