Chapter 17 part 2

Shawn's POV

We went to the concert and had a great time. Mary J. and Deangelo were good and I was proud of Melanie. Glad she's with Roc even if it's just management. I would steal glances at Bey and she looked like she was having a great time singing all the words with Mary. When the concert was over we went in the back and saw everyone. Bey was talking to Mary while I was waiting to go home. I wanted to have a great time there. I saw Bey walking up to me.

 "So you ready to go?" she asked.

I smiled and nodded my head and we left. I was driving while security wasn't too far behind us.

 "Today has been one of the best days." she said.

 "Well that's what I'm here for, to make all your days the best." I said.

 "Well thank you." she said.

 "No, I don't want my thank you yet. Wait till later." I said.

 "What else do you have planned?" she asked.

 "Don't worry about that, you'll get it in the house." I said.

 She raised her eyebrow at me.

 "Oh no not that, well I mean that too but it's something else." I said laughing.

 "Oh." she said "What did you buy?"

"How do you know I bought something? I could have made it from the heart." I said.

 A few seconds later we both busted out laughing.

 "Okay, I bought something." I said.

 "What?" she asked.

 "Patience." I said as we kept driving.

 When we got in the house she was looking dead at me.

 "What?" I asked.

 "Where's the gift." she said.

 "I just said that, there's no gift." I said.

 "Do I look like Chanel to you." she said.

 "You want me to be honest?" I said smiling.

 "Shawn! Stop playing." she said.

 I laughed as I pulled the ring box out of my pocket and gave it to her. She started smiling.

 "Thank you." she said.

 "Not yet." I said.

 She smiled and opened the box. I was waiting for her expression and it was priceless. I saw her studying the ring and smiling.

 "Now you can say it." I said.

 She walked over to me and kissed me on the lips and I loved it.

 "Thank you." she said.

 "Mhum" I moaned as I went in for another kiss.

I went in with that kiss with so much passion that she had no choice but to wrap her arms around my neck. I picked her up and her legs wrapped around my waist. I was going to walk to the bedroom but that's too far plus the couch is right there. I walked over and I was about to lay her down when a phone went off. I know that's not me and I'm not stopping.

 "Shawn." she moaned.

 "Don't answer it." I said as I kept going.

 "But it could be my mom." she said.

I looked at her and she had an apologetic face, so I let her up. She got up and answered the phone as I sat on the couch. I'm not happy right now.

 "Okay, I'll put it on speaker." I heard her say.
