Kelly's POV

"Hey, yeah I'm waiting for her right now." I said into the phone to Bey. "Yeah I'm gonna play it for her, yeah you gonna play it for them, yeah okay. I'll call you and tell you how it went. Okay, bye."

I hung up as I waited in the truck for Rachel. I promised her the next time I was in town we could hang out and I keep my promises but this little girl is slow. I picked up my phone.

"Rachel." I said.

"I'm coming, I'm coming." She said.

I hung up and waited. Finally she's coming.

"Your not patient at all." She said as she got in the truck.

"Oh whatever." I said hugging her.

"What we doing today?"she asked.

"First the movies." I said.

"Movies at ten am?" She said.

"Exactly no ones there." I said.

"Oh yeah, I talk to you so much I forgot you were 'famous'" she said. "Can't be getting ambushed."

"How's school because we will turn around if its all bad." I said.

"I'm already a step ahead of you." She said pulling something out of her pocket.

She gave it to me and she folded this damn thing so many different ways. I opened it and it was her report card. She was doing well with only one C. I put my hand up and she hit it.

"Alright, but what's this you got a C in?" I asked.

"Science but don't worry, I'm working on it." She said.

"Alright." I said as I gave her the report card back. "I want to play something for you."

"Really? What is it?" She asked.

"My new single." I said.

"Oh, when you releasing it?" She asked.

"In May sometime." I said.

"Cool, let me hear it." She said.

"Now it's called "Dirty Laundry" and it's very personal. The most personal song I've ever done." I said.

"What's it about?" She asked.

"A past relationship." I said.

"With who?" She asked.

I looked at her.

"Okay, okay, play the song." She said.

I told Ronnie, my driver, to put the CD in. He did and it played though out the truck. I was trying to see Rachel's face as it played but I couldn't tell what she was feeling, it was hard to read. She was nodding her head but by the end of the song she was looking out the window and she didn't say one word.

"Rachel." I said.

She kept looking out the window.

"That was deep." She said. "All that's true too?"

I grabbed her chin to look towards me and she had watery eyes.

"Yeah it was true but it happened awhile ago." I said. "Awe, come on don't do this."

"That shouldn't have happened to you." She said wiping her face.

"Look, God puts all of us through things for a reason." I said. "I have a testimony and can help people make it out of those types of relationships because I did."
