Chapter 40:His Personal Assistant

 <Elmo’s POV>

“Anong schedule ko ngayon?! Pwede bang bilis-bilisan niyo?!”

“Sir Elmo…saglit lang po”

“Saglit?! Eh kanina pa ako naghihintay! Do you want to get fired?!”

“Ph..photoshoot po ang next schedule niyo para sa magazine”

“Then fix my clothes! Faster!”

“O..opo!”

 

I put down the newspaper I am reading at that moment. I don’t have the time to watch some news on the TV so I am merely relying on the newspaper.

“Moe!”

I looked around my things as I heard my one of my sisters called me. Nasa bahay pa lang ako and preparing for my next schedule.

“Ba’t ang aga-aga ng sigaw ka ng sigaw?”

“What?”

“Anyway. Agahan mo na tapusin yang schedules mo. We will have dinner”

“Dinner for?”

“What do you mean ‘for?’ Basta sumunod ka na lang”

Pinagkibit balikat ko na lang ‘yong sinabi ni Maxx.

“Elmo!”

 

I looked at the other side and I saw my mom calling me. Geez. Why do people keep on finding me today?

“Why?”

“I’ll introduce you to your new P.A.”

“P.A.? Do I need one?”

“Yes. Hindi na kita mababantayan sa mga next schedules mo. Mas maiging may magrereport sa akin sa mga ginagawa mo”

P.A.? Do every artist need one?

“Mom, where is she?”

“Nandoon sa car mo talking to the driver for your schedules”

“Ok. Pakisabi naman bigyan ako ng coffee since I don’t have any sleep yet”

“Ok. Do good n your work, hijo”

“Thanks mom”

 

Ever since that day, I tried to focus on my work. I tried to become busy as much as possible. Naisip ko nab aka kailangan lang ni Julie ng space. I don’t think she’s the type of person to say thos words. I just don’t believe it. Maybe soon, we will talk in a proper way because I don’t want her to let go of me.

“Sir, coffee niyo po”

“Oh. Thanks”

 

Tinitigan ko ‘yong new P.A.ko as what my mom said. She’s wearing a cap and a jacket. She’s also holding a paper. Tumalikod din siya kaagad sa akin.

“Hey P.A.-“

 I opened the newspaper once again. “What’s your name?”
