Chapter 35: Unveiling

 “Oh, hija you came. Finally!”

“Tita, glad to see you!”

“Sit down, sit down”

 

Nicole’s POV: I looked around their house. It’s pretty decent. Pretty good for a well-known family- The Magalona family.

“Kailan ka pa dumating dito?”

“Last year pa po, tita”

“Oh really? Bakit hindi mo naman sinabi sa akin?” Their maid gave me a cup of drink. I’m looking at Elmo’s mom for the first time. “Where are you studying?”

“Angelicum College po. It’s where my cousin studied kasi. Well, it’s a pretty decent school naman po”

“Why don’t you transfer to La Salle? It’s one of the best school around here. And for sure, you’ll see Elmo often”

“I saw him na, tita”

“Oh really?”

“Nagpakilala po akong fan niya”

“Fan?! Are you serious hija?”

“It’s fine with me since I want to meet him in person, first. Well, I think he is good looking and he do have a good personality”

“Oh, I think guys look good together” No hiding. When I first saw Elmo, I like him and I know he’s the guy that I want to be with no matter what. “Hayaan mo, ipapakilala din kita sa kanya formally. Not as a fan but his fiancée”

“Hmm. But tita, does he have any girlfriend right now?”

“Girlfriend?” She paused for a while. “Wala ah”

“Hmm really? How about the girl named Julie Anne San Jose?”

“Oh, that’s his ka-loveteam right now. Don’t misunderstood it, hija.”

“Tita, are you really sure that they don’t have a ‘thing’ right now? I think Elmo loves that girl so much”

“Huh?”

 

I opened my bag at kinuha ‘yong mga pictures nila sa Batangas. Oh come on, am I that evil that I followed them in Batangas to take some proof that that are really together?

“What is that?”

“Well, that is the so-called trip of Elmo together with his friends and I think his ‘girlfriend’”

“Oh-“ She looked at the pictures. That’s not just what I have. I have a picture of them also in La Salle but I’m not going to give that one yet. I’m just after Elmo. I don’t want to ruin her studies right now.  I want her to enjoy the rest of her stay in that school and let’s what will happen. “It’s true then. Oh, nagsinungaling nanaman sa akin ‘yong batang ‘yon. We agreed that he will keep it professional. He told me that he will see Julie only as a partner on-screen but what is he doing?! I let him off the hook at that time pero he is doing these stuffs behind my back? Don’t worry, Nicole. I’ll talk to my son”

“No tita-“

“What do you mean?” I gave her a smile.

 “Why don’t you just talk to Julie, tita? I can wait pa naman. If they do love each other now, they can’t just forget those times they spent together, right? Why don’t you just give her an option and a time to think everything?”

“Oh my God, you are such a good person, Nicole. I’ll go to their studio on Sunday and I will talk to Julie, ok? Don’t worry hija. Leave it to me”

 

I’m Nicole and I’m Elmo’s soon-to-be fiancée. I’ll get him not matter what or in whatever way, I can.
